WOIO’s daily lampooning of the Jimmy Dimora with The Puppet’s Court takes this station’s entertainment value to the next level. They’ve got creativity and comedic value – it’s fantastic!
As a news operation, they’re pretty shoddy. Way too much of the buffoon reporter’s opinions thrown into the story, everything has a commentary, and they’re still learning how to gather news and broadcast in high definition.
If you need a laugh and don’t mind seeing the beautiful people read a teleprompter, then my fellow Unilocaler, this is the station for you!!!
So for entertainment value in Cleveland television, this is as good as it gets. If you’re looking for news and decent production value, your best bet is TV-​3 or TV-​5.

The most annoying, uninformed, opinionated, laughable and utterly useless news team in the history of Cleveland tv. I love them! Rick Abell makes my eyes and ears cringe. Sharon Reed is waiting for the first athlete she can marry and get the hell out of town. Chuck Galeti is an old school sports classic who i grew up watching along with Donovan and Casey. Tony Zarella is okay, too. Denise Dufala is a goddess and accomplished singer (check out her Son of a Preacher Man). That guy with the suspenders – straight out of the tv anchor paper doll book. Paul Joncich… what can i say? I’ve heard smarter opinions in truck stop restrooms. Paul Orlousky and Ed Gallek: a creepy tag team of investigators who can knock Carl Monday on his phony ass. Bill «mr. editorial» Applegate always brings home the bacon with his rants that have all the relevance of something Andy Rooney picked out of his teeth. Harry Boomer: weren’t you my 9^th grade history substitute one week? You’re no Leon Bibb, but I still love ya. Then there’ s the big kahuna himself, Jeff Tanchak. He’ s a fratboy weatherman who turns the evening forecast into a one man show/​beer pong tourney. What a cleve treasure…
And finally… Miss Danielle Serino. Sassy, cranky, jovial and downright HAWT! This lady has worked on national cable news shows and grew up in NYC, but has chosen to make our humble shantytown her home. Thank you, D. You make hearing about multiple gunshot victims and foreclosures sound like a symphony. The Edward G. Robinson delivery (i’m talkin here, see?) is about as unique as news reading gets. Don’t change a thing you guys.
