A to Z dealing with this business was a nightmare. They required a 50% down payment before ordering the carpet. A week later they charged the remaining 50% to my credit card without authorization. When I brought the«mistake» to their attention, it took a couple of phone calls but they finally issued a credit, and then charged my card again that same day. They moved the installation date at the last minute and when the installers arrived, late, they were loud, rude, and foul-mouthed. The carpet looked awful and turned out to be defective. I got no help from the store and had to contact the manufacturer myself to get a warranty replacement, which would be done through the store. I waited from October 2014 until the end of February 2015 before the replacement carpet was finally installed, and the store sent the original installers again, despite my repeated request that they send another crew. When I refused to allow the installers to do the job, another crew was finally sent out. After a five-month ordeal, I am pleased with the carpet, but will never deal with this business again. If you buy carpet from Wild Bill’s, just hope that everything goes perfectly because if it doesn’t, you may not get much help from the store. It’s all unicorns and rainbows until something goes wrong…

Just bought roughly $ 1000 worth of carpet from them installed. The experience was a mixed bag. On one hand, the carpet brought to the house was found to be defective once unrolled. On the other hand, they upgraded us to a better carpet at no additional charge, went and got it and finished the job on the same day. The installers really sacrificed their evening to take care of everything! I don’t think I can blame Wild Bill’s that the carpet wholesaler sold them defective carpet. On one hand, Wild Bill himself is a tad hard to deal with sometimes. He seems a little disorganized and doesn’t hear well at his age. On the other hand, his son Dave is professional and polite and great to work with. From my limited exposure to Jodi I believe she’s excellent too. On one hand, I could have saved $ 60 buying a cheaper grade I had priced out at Home Depot. On the other hand, I would have saved only $ 60, buying a cheaper carpet, at Home Depot. If a problem had come up, would the big corporate store drop their schedules for the rest of the day to fix things? Probably not. And they definitely got the job done faster than Home Depot’s schedule was allowing(a couple days instead of weeks). So I would recommend them. But I also recommend you deal with someone other than Bill. Or, after the order is placed, contact Dave and go over the order a second time confirming the details to make sure everyone is on the same page and no surprises.
