There is more to the Haute Dawg than we will see in our lives, Gunga Din. This Weeny Lady is laying down live music on open mike nites and invitational mini concerts. She delivers the dogs too — in grand style, I might add — Loaded Baked Potato Dogs, Coney Islands, Cleveland Dogs, Chicago Specials(Big Al Capone woulda scarfed a few.), some folks create their own from the sundry ingredients as well as the side table add-ons. Get a triptych of 3 dogs — say, 1 Coney Island, 1 Mac n Cheese, 1 Cleveland Dog featuring Cleveland’s signature slaw. Go crazy. After all, it’s Weeny a Go Go, named after the world famous, oft emulated, before there was a Studio 54, Whiskey a Go Go outa LA. Live a little, Mid Century Americana style. Grab a dog and your gal and sing for all your worth on open mike nite … or just stop in for lunch at The Weeny Lady’s place.

They serve locally made all beef hotdogs made with organic beef from New Creation Farms in Chardon, Ohio. Now I know you won’t get that same hotdog at ABC, Happy Dog, or from a street vendor. Come on folks, these are gourmet all beef hotdogs and priced accordingly. Get the baked potato dog !!! I was in there several days before Christmas and had 3 of their hotdogs. I think maybe I now like the Chicago dog best. It was a messy good dog.

The owner was very friendly but we were disappointed in the hotdogs. The hotdogs were very small and the bun was huge. We were looking forward to going there for dinner and were unfortunately let down! The atmosphere was cool and there were a lot of wild decorations.

Nah. The hot dog was good, but everything else wasn’t. Are you a vintage store? A garage sale? A hot dog shop? A kitsch museum? WHATISHAPPENINGHERE. The Chicago dog was good, but didn’t have a poppyseed bun and was extremely overpriced. I’m a huge hot dog fan, but I just don’t see why I should choose this place instead of just getting an Atomic Dog at ABC or heading to Happy Dog. The hot dog itself was on par with a street vendor hot dog, which isn’t a bad thing, but for $ 6 it is. The toppings and presentation only go so far.

Good dog but over priced. Tasted good but for the price I wouldn’t get two. Décor seemed more the focus than serving hotdogs.

Great Chicago style dog. But it feels like they overspent outfitting their space, forgot about poppyseed buns, and went ahead charging 2x what is reasonable.

encased meat products the search ends on the two five wiener perfection Hotdogs are one of my 4 food groups. In Chicago, I could, and do, eat a Chicago style dog every day. Finally, there is one in Cleveland that rivals the Chicago dog. One difference, Weenie a Go Go does not use Vienna brand dogs, but delicious artisinal ones made locally. And that makes it even better. Great dogs served in a funky ‘50s atmosphere. I’m a regular. Oh yes. Carry on.
