Cleveland’s first and only philosophy school! We offer philosophy classes, led by someone with a Ph.D. in philosophy, around the Cleveland area.

History

Established in 2014.

Sophizo was created because we LOVE philosophy and we know we’re not alone! We realized, however, that except for college and university classes there aren’t any avenues for people to formally study and gather to discuss philosophy. So, we decided to fix that!

We offer individuals a chance to read, think, and talk about philosophy with other interested individuals in a casual, yet dedicated setting. This is much better than a college course because there aren’t any tests, papers or disinterested students! It’s better than a book club because an instructor with a Ph.D. leads each of our classes!
