I was so pleased to find Rover for dog boarding for our dog, Chico. It is so great to be able to find sitters who are close to our home so we can drop him off and pick him up easily. The best part is that he is not in a kennel; he is in someone’s home. it is much more like his life with us, and sometimes even better, because the sitters we have used have fenced in yards, which we don’t have… I could not say enough about Rover, com and the price is less than the other places we tried. I tell everyone to try it at least once!

Finding a place for dog boarding in a new city is usually tough but
made it super easy. I tried using one of those overnight facilities but with so many other dogs there, I think my pup was overwhelmed. He was stressed when he got home. But with Rover, I was able to find sitters who made sure my pup was exercised and pampered. He always comes back a tired and happy dog. The reviews and pictures for each sitter make it easy to find the right person for you. Also, insist on a Meet and Greet. It puts your mind at easy having met and talked with the sitter.

Using
I located Heights Doggy Hostel and I was thrilled with their service. Cody first stay was for 10 days and it was great for both of us. I got daily pictures and updates and Cody enjoyed the other dogs. Cody went back for an overnight and he was so excited walking up the sidewalk. Cody was loved and taken care of very well. Allen and Mallory are great!

I’ve used Rover for the past two years as a more personal way take care of Kaya when I need to leave town. Other dog boarding services seem so impersonal and treat every dog the same. Kaya needs a little extra love and attention to keep her behavior in check. The sitters I’ve used with Rover have all be exceptionally nice. I can’t imagine doing it any other way.

and you even have the option to provide the boarder with a vet call service if there are any issues during the stay.

offers a nice resource for pet boarding. I found someone right in my neighborhood who cared for my dog in his home — a much preferred option to kennels. We were able to chat by email and meet the caregiver and his family (including his own pets) before committing to board our dog there. I would definitely use this service again.

Five star concept with a few kinks to work out. The website isn’t the most user friendly both in navigation or the stream of information provided. Regardless, it’s a much needed resource in a unique market. The sitter pictures and comments are very helpful when deciding who to hire.
