a welcomed oasis in the truly beautiful Old Brooklyn. used to be a school here, but gone now. It is still strange for me when I go by I see folks tending the farm, and Chickens everywhere, roaming free. AWESOME… bought 3 dozen brown eggs and they were outstanding… I am sure folks will say 4 bucks is too high while the smoke there 6 dollar a pack cigaretts… I get a kick taking some to my friends house, his wife is a wonderfull chef and does miracles with eggs… the manager or owner maybe. well he greeted us very quickly and bagged my eggs in a reusable bag… he did say that his bag provider sent him the wrong ones, but it has the rising farm name on them, so he said keep those at no charge and he will replace them… all in all a farm… in the city… Green acres is the olace to be .FARM living is the life for me. lol…:)

What can one say about an urban farm except… BRILLIANT!!! Fresh eggs, vegetables and it draws the NICEST! People!!! Smack dab in the heart of Old Brooklyn and easy to get to from anywhere!!! Eggs cost $ 4.00 a dozen but I tell Michael to keep the dollar out of five which he humorously, begrudgingly does!!! Love this place!!!
