Recently moved from Chicago and spent some time looking for a few antique places similar to what I previously found in Andersonville(Scout, Room Service). This is a great little place that does a nice job curating pieces and also making wood from reclaimed wood. The neighborhood is NOTHING like Andersonville, but glad to see this place exists.

You know that little boutique décor place that you are always looking for? Well, this is where you will find it. We ventured to Reincarnation on our Saturday antique outing because it is on a strip of shops along Lorain that seem to only be open for a couple of extremely inconvenient hours each week(don’t ask me what they are because it was completely confusing to me… Saturday from 12 — 2 o’clock is pretty much the only time I can guarantee these places will be open). From the moment we opened the door to Reincarnation my wife and I knew we were in love. The shop straddles the line between antiques and repurposed furniture/décor. Repurposing is very popular right now but I can happily say that Reincarnation has done it right! It is a beautifully laid out store with unique pieces of furniture and art. There isn’t a ton of stuff in the store but what they do have is very nice and quirky. I did have a minor meltdown when I looked at the poor, destroyed rugs that were being torn apart by feet on the warehouse floor. They would have been quite nice in another life but it is clear that they no longer have any value. The owner and staff are very friendly which is a nice change from the other antique shops on this block. This is a must-visit shop if you are in the area… and happen to be available during their open hours!

stumbled into this place on saturday and fell in love. although the owner shared that they were recently cleaned out by dealers from japan, there were still plenty of unique pieces on display. my boyfriend and i bought a great(and reasonable!) coffee table and will be back for more, especially because they change over inventory every week. very cool vintage stuff with a modern twist. can’t wait to stock up on more goodies for my home.

ZOMG… Can I please live here? Can I help make your vintage furniture pieces with modern twists? Can I buy everything in your shop and decorate my home? This is a one-stop-shop for everything I love about interior design. I love projects and these folks must as well, since they find amazing, unfinished, industrial pieces and mix them with soft, antique lines. It all comes together into something perfect. It took only one visit of 10 minutes to convince my boyfriend and I to make an appointment to come back and discuss custom pieces. We have a beautiful home we’d love to fill with some really unique pieces. We.are.beyond.excited. to have discovered this place. You absolutely have to check this place out.

I love this place! The owners recondition and repurpose vintage items. Everything here is unique and in very good condition and the owners are helpful and friendly. Definitely worth checking out!
