Punto Boricua

Punto Boricua means the Spanish spot. They gave great Spanish food and cook most food to order. Very affordable prices for great cooking.

I was stopping by the Post Office on 65^th and Lorain (which is not on Unilocal,note to self, add it). As usual, parking is non existent in that little nook of the city, finally a spot opens across the street, I pull a smooth, one hand U-​E and park. As I get out I notice a little Spanish deli ive never noticed before.
After finishing my duty at the USPS I dropped in and got a ham and pastrami sub and let me tell you, it was excellent! 8 $. It was a little pricey, but very good. They had all your basic Puerto Rican sides or appetizers, if you will. Ill definitely be back for another item on the menu, soon.
I chose to give them a 3 because the cooler was down and it took quite a bit of time to prepare one sub. Plus, for being a new small, Mom&Pop spot I wasn’t too impressed with the courtesy I received. May just be me, but I made him aware I was going to give him a good review on the Internet and attempt to get him business, he didn’t seem too excited about it, so oh well. Food was good cant knock the hustle.
