I was referred to the surgery center, which is on the first floor of the building(the doctor’s offices are on the second). I was seen for a broken ankle. The doctor saw me on Monday, and i was operated on Wednesday. I arrived at 715AM and was brought back a little after 730. They operate on 25 a day or so but it didn’t feel like a hospital. Or a factory. I was met by a nurse and the anesthesiologist who got the ball rolling. Everything was explained to me… the operating doctor came in to explain what he was going to do and how long it was going to take. Left nothing out, and made sure my wife understood as well. I promptly passed out and woke up in the recovery room where I was given instructions with a bit of humor… my wife took all the notes! I remember nothing. Overall, the doctor’s offices on the second floor are soiled and need a good deep cleaning in the waiting room… but I am a new fan. I will be going to them for my PT so I’ll be sure to update my status and my rating.
