Typical nasty dive bar in cleveland. Service was rude and our food was cold. We were waiting at least ten minutes in between drinks it was pathetic. Best of all there was a group of people behind us being rude and obnoxious and the owner/manager had the audacity to ask US to leave. What a liar we were simply minding our own business. Plus the whole building was drafty too like they had a fan on in the winter time. DON’T GOTOPOKEYS if you’re wanting to enjoy a night out.

The wife and I went to try Pokey’s, for the first time, around 8:30pm to grab dinner and a few drinks, after she got off of work. Unfortunately we can’t give a review of anything more than the front door, because that’s as far as we made it. Apparently they had a live band because they had a sign at the front door saying there was a $ 5 per person cover charge after 8pm. We turned around and left. Sorry, but we were coming to buy dinner and drinks. We could really care less about the band. We spent over $ 50 at the restaurant we wound up going to, and would have spent the same amount there, but they tried to squeeze an extra $ 10 before we would have even got to order something. Not happening with this couple. Also, aren’t the purpose of bands a way to attract more customers and encourage them to stay and spend money on food and drink? They shouldn’t have to pay for that too!

Went here for drinks on a trip to Cleveland and liked the vibe of the entire place. Local watering hole, bar, karaōke night, well priced drinks($ 3.50 Yuengling pints), pool tables, and large TVs. Will have to try the food next time. I’m not used to smoking at bars coming from California but its commonplace in Tennessee. Definitely worth checking out for a chill night.

Lunch was good. They will not serve you a glass of ice water during lunch. You must buy a bottle of water which I think is a huge rip off.

Nice place to come and listen to a band sometimes especially on the weekends. They serve food here and beer and are open every day even on Sunday. It’s hidden behind enterprise rent a car. Just take the road to the left of enterprise . They serve steaks from Tuesday thru Saturday. Sundays they 50 cent wings. Smoking is allowed in a separate room but not in the front room or side room. I got the wings today since it was Sunday and its what was on special. The sauce I got was bar b q and it was the best bar b a wings I ever had. I will remember to come back . There is plenty of parking out front and easy to get to from main road.

Food is actually pretty great for a bar. If you can catch The Collins Brothers there, you should.
