History

Established in 1989.

Mayfield Collison Centers was founded May 15, 1989 by our President and Founder, Tom Griffin. Before opening MCC, Tom spent 18 years in the automotive business — mostly on Service Management Teams at eastside New Car Dealers. The last 10 years, just prior to opening MCC, was spent at Motorcars Honda. Beginning in 1979 as a Service Advisor and moving up through the ranks to Assistant General Manager. Being awarded with numerous Customer Satisfaction Awards and receiving extensive training in Automotive Management and Customer Service. His passion for creating Extraordinary Customer Care Experiences is what continues to drive him and everyone at Mayfield Collison Centers. Yes, we do a great job of fixing cars, but more importantly, we do a great job with our Customer service.

Nobody ever wants to have their car in a collision shop, but when required, this is the place to go. Seriously, I’m so impressed. Some jack*ss sped down my street, hit my car and sped off. Two hours later, after I had called my insurance company (who recommended this shop), I had an appointment to drop off my car. Jenna was amazing and helped make this visit such a positive experience!
Emails are sent with updated photos along the process, which takes you out of the guessing game of what’s being done– is it just sitting there, how much longer will it be, etc. Not only do you get periodic emails with updated photos, but you also get emails with updates of when your car will be done. Normally, I’d be thrilled that they finished early but since I was out of town, this created issues with my insurance company since I had a rental they were covering and couldn’t return it. Jenna stepped up to the plate and took care of the situation, completely alleviating all of my stress.
I can’t speak for the work they’ve done yet, since I haven’t seen the completed car but I have faith that they did just as good on the car as they do with customer service. Wish they did more than just collisions, it was seriously a pleasure to work with them!

Mayfield Collision Centers is always my first choice. Somebody hit my car and they walked me through the process. It was lucky that my car insurance company works with Mayfield Collision Centers. Jenna was friendly and nice. She walked me through the process. She called and update me on the repair. I can watch the images of the repair process.
The nice thing about Mayfield Collision Center is the car rental in the same spot. They arranged a car rental for me which is really convenient. I would highly recommend Mayfield Collision Centers.

Yet again another flawless repair! They are certified to work on my All-​Aluminium Rover! from the fender bender to just getting out a few scratches they go above and beyond! Scott R. is the best at taking care of me!

I could not recommend Mayfield Collision enough. I unfortunately got in two fender benders over the winter, and both time I went to Mayfield Collision. I’ve gotten repair work done at other shops, but I always found the people really unpleasant. Totally different at this shop! I appreciate how helpful, kind, and patient all of the staff. I worked with Cord in particular, and the simple fact that he was friendly and genuinely seemed to want to help me made a world of difference. I would tell everyone I know to go here to get their car repaired.

Did a great job on repairs for my car. Everyone was really nice and helpful and made the stressful process of getting your car fixed pretty painless. They actually got my repairs done a couple days before their estimate — so that was pretty cool of them. Rental car services on site were solid as well — had no issues whatsoever.
If you’re lucky enough that Mayfield Collision is a preferred repair center for your insurance (or the insurance of the person who hit your car, like what happened to me!) then you’re in good hands.

I took my car in for repairs in September 2014. Their communication was excellent and kept me up to date with the progress of the repairs. I brought my car in October 2014 for a loose panel on the windshield. They fixed it in less that 10 minutes and didn’t charge me. Great experience.

Great people!
There are probably other collision centers who might be able to work with better skills with tools but people skills of Mayfield Collision center is awesome. I had a great experience during my one and only visit and I will recommend it to anyone who needs to work with or without insurance.

Got into a fender bender that wasn’t my fault. State Farm listed this location as a collision center near me who could fix my car. The entire process was effortless. They quickly pulled me up in their database with as little as my name, had someone pick me up to get my rental car, had my car done in 3 days, and returned the rental for me. My car looked as good as new and they washed the inside and the entire interior. Friendly people too.
Only downside is their hours are normal business hours — aka when normal people are working — and no weekend hours… :-\ it was a pain actually finding time to get there and get my car. Especially since traffic from downtown to a little past Little Italy sucks during rush hour.

I needed my rear bumper replaced after someone hit it. I went to Mayfield Collision and the service, work and communication were all outstanding. From the moment I walked in to the office I was treated with respect and Shannon did a great job explaining the damage and process. I appreciate their thoroughness and attention to detail. I happened upon Mayfield Collision because they were recommended by Swedish Solutions (Swedish Solutions does not do body work). My experience with Mayfield Collision was excellent. Car repairs in general are a huge bummer, but working with Mayfield Collision made it as painless as possible. They dealt with the insurance companies, arranged for my rental car, called the rental company to come pick up my car. Basically all I had to do was drop off and pick up my car.
They were very prompt and accommodating about getting my car in for body work. You can log onto their website to check the status of your car (I never did) because they were so great about calling every few/​several days to give me updates. They offer lifetime guarantee of their work. Everyone was very pleasant in person, on the phone, basically every interaction that I had with any of the staff. Hopefully I won’t need any more body work, but if I ever do, Mayfield Collision is now the only shop I would consider going to.
As for the body work itself, beautiful and pristine.
