Mattress Showcase

This review is for the Mattress Showcase in Oakwood Village.
If I could give this company zero stars I would. I went to the Oakwood Village store back in 2014 and bought an Englander mattress that they designed. When I tested the mattress in the store (for 15 minutes, as recommended), it was comfortable. I was replacing a ten-​year old pillow top mattress that had gotten too soft. I decided to go with a flippable firm mattress because my body had aches and pains from my previous mattress. After a few months, I started noticing that the mattress was sagging on the side I slept on. I followed the manufactures suggestions about turning the mattress and each time, it would feel better for a short while, then I noticed the mattress started sinking again. After almost a year of that, I went to the store and spoke to the person who sold me the mattress and told him what the problem was. He told me that he would need to see the receipt to help me further, and he also advised me to take pictures of the mattress so he could see when I came back. He also asked me if I had flipped the mattress yet, and I told him that it wasn’t time yet but that I would do it. I went home and took the pictures (showing the sags and the mattress tag), and I flipped it also. I waited a few weeks before I went back so that I could see if flipping it would make a difference. It didn’t. When I brought the receipt, he said he needed to see the actual sale receipt, which I thought I had. He looked it up in his file and found it. Then I showed him the pictures of the mattress and he said he needed to see better pictures, as the ones I had didn’t really show the mattress sagging. It was clear to me and it was clear to a friend I showed the pictures to. He said that the sales rep would call me to set up an appointment to come look at the mattress. It was around holiday time (November) so I gave the rep. the benefit of the doubt when I hadn’t heard from him. Here it is now January 2016 and still no word from the rep. On top of that my body is now aching and stiff on the side that I sleep on and there is no relief in sight. I even bought several mattress toppers to see if it would make a difference and it doesn’t.
When I was buying the mattress the sales guy was all smiles and nice-​nice. Now that there is a problem, No one is doing anything about it. I have been to them twice about this problem and have called on the telephone. I should not have to hunt these people down to get them to stand by their product. I will be filing a complaint with the better business bureau to see if they can help me get some satisfaction. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH MATTRESS SHOWCASE IN OAKWOOD VILLAGE. I wish I never had!

Save yourself the trouble and buy a mattress where they offer a comfort guarantee. After making the wrong choice we are now stuck with a matress that gives me back-​ache. After calling next morning we were told to go shopping for a topper. No matter how hard I try to support local businesses– they seem to never do the same for me.
