Store is pretty good but I find it a bit too crowded with the parking situation compared to other locations. I take my clients here because it is close to my work, but I can only give 4 stars since I feel like it’s not one of their nicer locations. It could at least be more spacious. I would like to say, To the nasty soccer-mom hag who decided to come at me in the parking lot: 1) I did not hit your car. 2) I was never rude to you, but you certainly still decided to act like a petty, salty bitch. 3) I even said sorry for parking crooked, but I can’t help it that your giant gas-guzzling earth-destroying suv was in my way. 4) I am not actually sorry for anything. 5) One would think that, at your old age, you would’ve learned to recognize when someone does not care to have a beef with you. But it would appear that you are significantly stupider than most.

The girlfriend & I just bought our first house in Kamm’s Corners and this Giant Eagle is our local grocery. Been here a couple times and I’m a fan. The layout works, it’s well maintained, and the staff is super friendly and helpful. Plus, there’s a pharmacy and Redbox on site. If you live in the area, enjoy a nice walk here.

I’m sorry Edgecliff Giant Eagle. You are close, convenient, and in all reality a decent grocery store. But when I compare you to the Giant Eagle in Lakewood, it just doesn’t come close. You have far less selection than your younger, hipper store just 5 minutes down the road. I’ll still visit you though, because you have the basics, 75% of what I need, and I’m pretty lazy.

Just noticed I checked in at the wrong location. I’ve been to this Giant Eagle before and it has always had a weird old smell. I was writing a review for the one on 117th. I much prefer that location over this one

This Giant Eagle is actually the closest one to my family home in Lakewood, but I end up driving a longer distance to the W. 117th store frequently because, simply put, Edgecliff Giant Eagle is out of a lot of products on a very regular basis. If you go in here late on a weekend, or even just late at night, expect to see some shelves picked clean. A recent example involved my going here for cat litter one evening, and finding the four large shelves that hold my brand of litter completely bare except for 2 boxes of a kind my cats don’t like. I noted a number of other shelves for other products that were close to empty on that visit. There was no emergency like an impending blizzard that would have caused people to come buy the place out — more like they just don’t bother to restock regularly enough to keep the shelves from emptying. If you want a prepared deli item like chicken pie, better arrive before noon or you’re not getting any. I’ve also had trouble finding stuff like quick deli lunchmeat to-go in bags, when the larger Giant Eagles always have that on hand(especially useful if you need to shop after the deli hours have ended). This Giant Eagle also closes earlier than the one on W. 117th. Having now had several experiences of coming here in the evening after work, only to find the store is either(a) closed or(b) out of half the things I wanted to buy, I don’t come here any more unless it’s just to pick up some staple like bread or milk that’s not likely to be «sold out», or I’m shopping very early in the morning(like opening time) when the small allotment of prepared foods for the day are put out on the shelves. No point in visiting this store if I just have to turn around and drive to 117th anyway to find what I want to buy.

Easily the G.E. with the scarcest selection in a five mile radius. The store is always clean and the staff is adequately attentive. I stop here when it’s a matter of convenience(on my way home) or last minute items. Not much else to say, it’s a grocery store.

I never go out of my way to leave negative feedback on my experience. In my opinion and experience is personal and different for everyone. However, I have shopped at this store for over 10 years and would have to say after today’s trip there I will NEVER return. I have had many bad experiences here more than one should have anywhere they are spending their money. I have gone to them with my complaints or ideas only to brushed off as insignificant. I live within walking distance and I wouldn’t go there to spend a dollar, I will drive 5 plus miles to get a gallon of milk. The costumer service that is if you are not forced to check yourself out is horrendous. The only check out person there who has a tiny bit of friendliness is Natalie, but sadly she is very slow. The management is gruff and outdated and has no concern for their customers happiness. They never have things in consistently and again at the end of your trip you have to pay some mean spirited person to check you out.
