Geppetto’s serves up some delicious pizza and ribs. I’ve been eating here since I was a kid, so I’ve got about 15 to 20 years of experience with them. The pizza and ribs are made from scratch every day. The ribs are seasoned and baked for hours and then they are stored in the fridge every night. When you order your ribs, they are pulled from the fridge and tossed on the grill for about 10 minutes as delicious Geppetto’s BBQ sauce is added. You can buy bottles of this sauce from the shop. The pizza toppings are large and fresh, just how I like them. My favorite pizza from Geppetto’s is the BBQ chicken pizza. It’s fresh and delicious! Pizza and ribs aren’t the only things on the menu, however, and Geppetto’s also caters. Other menu items include salads, deep fried chicken(delicious!), BBQ chicken, and cheesecake. This location is a sports bar first and it serves great fare. Geppetto’s closed its long-standing location on Pearl Road in Parma, but within a year this new store opened at Parmatown in the exact location where other restaurants such as Houlihan’s and TGI Friday’s have perished. Instead of being a typical pizza parlor, it’s more of a sports bar/restaurant. It is owned by Mike O’Malley, who also owns several other bars like Johnny Malloy’s in Lakewood. Geppetto’s is a cut above the rest. Maybe I’m biased though. I worked at Geppetto’s for a few months when I was 15 and my sister worked here for over 10 years.
