Playing in the done today. I know it’s a city university but they really need better parking. Hiking in the frigid weather from the parking garage blocks away is not fun. There is nice little ears and shops close by. And a few good bars.

I got my master’s in special education here. LOVED most of my professors, and the others were pretty good, too. Great value for the buck, and I really feel like I learned something. Tips: Campus 411 and advisors are very helpful. One of my friends was freaking out about not getting into a class, but I showed her how there were undergrad spots still available. She spoke to someone in 411, who helped her register. Use the library! You get a printing budget of $ 80 a semester. You can get a U-pass sticker for unlimited rides on the RTA for a nominal fee. Main frustration: when someone who makes a decision is away, even for a month, there is nobody able to make the decision for them, which means any paperwork for transferring credits, waiving requirements, and such could be held up(STUPID policy that stresses out students!). Overall, great school, great profs, great facilities, great value for your education dollar. Use those facilities and services! The Special Ed Dept rocks! P. S. The Health Center staff is great, the cost of visits is cheap, and you can also buy health insurance through the college if you are taking one class.

Great campus, nicely connected with Downtown Cleveland. Short walk to Asiatown. Inexpensive housing all around the area, if you don’t want to live in their brand new on-campus dorms/apartments. Dozens of great restaurants, world class theatre, art museums, the best fishing lake in the world, all within a short walk/bike ride/bus ride. Speaking of bus, it’s directly on the Healthline, which might be the best bus line in the United States. The staff at CSU are for the most part, incredibly helpful. The undergrad advisor for the Urban College, Rachel Singer, is the best higher education employee I have ever come across. I was able to graduate my program in record time(exaggeration, but it was quick) with the exact credits I needed. The actual professors are excited about what their students are working on and what they are accomplishing. They make you want to strive for better things. I am always trying to stay active just in case I run into any of them at the market or the museum. It happens all the time. CSU is the shiz. Love it. Go Vikings!

Beautiful campus, but a little confusing. I can’t speak to the quality of education as I was here to speak at a conference. Parking seemed adequate, and lush green grass blanketed the outside, despite the lack of rain in most of the state for over a month. It was 90+ outside and felt like 80 inside. I realize it’s a big, interconnected building, but dropping the thermostat about three more degrees would have made for a much more pleasant environment. The people I met were most helpful in finding my way around, though a few more maps would have made life a lot easier.

I cannot comment on the schooling, just the music facilities as my daughter practices choir here. They seem to have everything, and the rooms are spacious. For me as I wait, I enjoy the free wireless, and good seating and desks that are made available, as well as electrical. I can usually find free, or cheaper parking on the street

Oh the college years. What memories. CSU is doing it right by building facilities the new generation needs to prep for global competition and domination. I came here for an alumni student networking event. Cafeteria and student center is really nice. First thing I see when I walk in is a live angry birds game going and a dj spinning tunes. This is how college should look like. At the cafeteria I ate gyro’s, beef barley soup, and ice cream. It was all you can eat. Good for my taste buds not my fat hizzy. Wish this was here when I was here. But glad to see what they are doing to build and modernize the campus.

I’m not a student but I was here for a seminar. I have to say I was impressed with the campus! It was very clean and had a collegiate feeling and the students were very nice!
