The Cleveland Bradley County Public Library has really improved over the recent years due to a remodel. Library hours are Monday thru Thursday 9am till 9pm, Friday to Saturday 9am till 6pm. Sunday they are open only 4 hours from 1pm till 5pm.
Their services are free for the people of Bradley County. You must become a member to check out books, CDs, DVDs and to use their computers.
There is a time limit on the computers of two hours. The computers have printing capabilities but costs 25 cents per page if in black and white. If the pages are in color it is $ 1 each. So print them in black and while is recommended. Now, when you print pages from the computer you must take elevator to second floor and see librarian on duty for confirmation of pages you want. You can decline pages if wanted here because she is the one pushing the print button in reality.
Books can be checked out for 3 weeks.
CDs can be checked out for 3 weeks.
DVDs can be checked out 3 days.
So why pay at Redbox when you can check out movies here for free.
There is a teen library section in this library for teens only with an actual teen librarian on duty.
In summary, get a card and keep it in your wallet or purse. You will need it to check out books, children’s books, CDs, and DVDs. You will also need the number on back to log into a computer. This is a magnificent library open free to the public. You must be a resident of Bradley County to take advantage of its full member services.
