ANATOMY Nightclub + Ultralounge

When I called to reserve VIP seating for my birthday weekend on a Saturday, with the 107.9 DJ, I was told that the age was 21 and up. The crowd can’t be any older than 15yrs of age. And It looks as if all seating in the lounge is used for VIP?! This lounge was a waste of money and time!!! Just naaaaasty! It looked nothing like the pics advertised! Very disappointing!

I had never been on the street for a party until last Friday night. Of course I always hear about Anatomy on the radio, but never has anyone invited me… How strange! Well I ended up here for a medical school banquet (my sister is the doctor, not me). I’m going to start off with the bad…
Does this place normally cook/​have restaurant hours? Or maybe the event was catered by an outside group… I don’t know. But for this formal event dinner was provided, and man was it mediocre. Roasted veggies and grilled chicken style of basic-​ness. There may have been some marinara pasta as well. I think the only seasonings used were salt and pepper. So underwhelming! I also did not like the layout. For a girl wearing a dress and big heels, those stairs were the devil. Plus, coat check was unorganized and the exit/​entrance was in the smallest area known to mankind.
The good is that I had fun. Really though, is that because I was at Anatomy? Or because I was out with fun friends… Guess we may never know, since I have no idea if I’ll ever be back.

So much FUN! I know part of the fun is the company you bring, but I had fun with everyone in the bar! The bartenders, staff, other patrons, even the bathroom attendant! Everyone was so friendly and ready to party!
The music downstairs was so loud, but so good. The DJ was killing it. The bartenders were quick and efficient. The rest of the staff were totally chill and having a good time but still professional. Even the police man who was patrolling the place was fun. He let me put a princess crown on him! haha
The party downstairs was definitely more vibrant than upstairs, but we went upstairs on the outdoor patio to smoke.
I only drank beer and shots. $ 4 a beer and the shots varied. Beer was cold, shots were good. The free party favors entertained me for awhile. I have at mention, the crowd had a good mix of ages. It wasn’t all 21 y/​o spilling their drinks on us, falling all over the place. (I appreciated that!)
Parking was in a lot next door for $ 20, our car was safe. Admission was only $ 10!
Overall, our first experience at Anatomy was great, and we would go back!

Great Place for house dance techno music. Dj was spinning hot. Bar Service was wonderful. They have respect for their patrons. Great dance floor with a modern and trendy layout. Def will be going back next time I am in Cleveland. Great Full Service bar.

The music and sound system here is great and the bartenders are nice. The décor is pretty modern and cool but when me and boyfriend went it was pretty dead. There was just a small private girls party and a couple of scragglers at the bar. Maybe it’s better on other nights but on a Saturday at 10:40 pm, it’s pretty dead.

We attended a fund raiser here on a Friday evening, 6 pm to 10 pm. Valet service was convenient for many of us, $ 5, and we found convenient parking in the nearby manned lots, $ 8.
Narrow and long, with limited seating, but that added to the social nature of the event as we milled up and down the length of the bar. Music regularly interrupted for the fund raising, PA a bit uneven, hard to hear in some spots, too loud in others. Bathrooms very tidy, bar tenders very courteous and prompt for our event. Easy to escape outside and chat at some of the bar tables. Valets promptly retrieved cars as we broke up and the 10pm crowd started to roll in.

I was here just last night. I was at a meet-​up party. Another night of debauchery! They had 3 and 5 dollar drink specials. Since it was a Halloween theme they put dry ice in the drinks. My drinks kept freezing. I guess I did not drink quick enough! The barkeeps were pretty friendly and they did not cop a tude when I would order water. The music was fun. No food! They let our group bring food. There are plenty of eats on W6th and 9^th. The patio on the roof was nice, I did not hang out there as it was chilly.. Overall I had a good time

I really like going out clubbing and experiencing the downtown scene. It’s a relatively small club compared to a lot of the other places on W. 6^th.
Anatomy is decorated relatively nicely with modern décor and bar. The bathrooms are really clean with a attendant. The drinks a little over priced for what you get even though it is downtown. I can’t even taste the alcohol in the drinks– a dirty martini just tastes like olive juice and a cran– vodka tastes like cranberry juice. I paid 8.00 for a cran-​vodka. The bartenders were very attentive though. At barflyy, I can get a Crown Royal, Peach Schnapps concoction for 6.50 and quick service.
I wasn’t too impressed with the DJs that played, but that changes easily with the venue. Plenty of cute guys, when I went for the Eastern Bloc Party, who offered drinks though. :D. I don’t think that Anatomy is usually too packed unless there is some venue going on.

You can rent the upstairs private room at a very reasonable rate. The downside? It gets crazy hot up there in the summer. They do have a little rooftop patio you can escape to for some air.
They play techno-​type music (sorry that I don’t know the correct term for it) and it sort of reminds me of a European bar from the early 2000’s I was at.
The crowd here can really vary. It does seem to be a little less annoying than the average «club» goer on W. 6^th.
