Alexander Interiors specializes in high-​end residential interior design with an emphasis on large scale custom homes, renovations, and home theaters. Designing specialty rooms and builtins, and reading blueprints where potential problems are identified with the way the home will function and the furniture will layout are also a specialty. The client’s current and long-​term needs are determined, a complete design is developed, accommodating the client’s budgetary and time constraints.

History

Established in 1989.

After Kathy Alexander earned her BA in Interior Design she partnered with custom home builders in the Washington DC Metro area. Several of the homes she designed won 1^st and 2^nd prize in the Finest for Family Living Competition.

Over nearly a quarter century, Kathy helped clients throughout the Metro DC area and across the country to realize their dreams of home.

In 2014 Kathy moved herself and her main operations to the Cleveland area (while maintaining a presence in the Washington DC area).

Kathy Alexander, sole owner/​principal designer of Alexander Interiors, since 1989 is responsible for all aspects of the business. Specialist in high-​end residential interior design with an emphasis on custom homes, renovations and home theaters. Kathy partnered with custom home builders and theater companies in the Washington DC Metropolitan area and specializes in Custom Homes & Renovations, Residential Interior Design, and Staging.

Kathy graduated with honors with a B.A. in Interior Design from Marymount University in Arlington, VA. Kathy is an allied member of the American Society of Interior Designers and is a member of the Interior Design Advisory board for Akron University.
