I took a framed piece that needed a new mat and an item in need of a shadow box to one of the big craft stores. After getting the sale price, my total was going to be close to $ 400, and there were a few specifications they couldn’t guarantee because they don’t do all of the work in-​house. I said «no thanks» and decided to check out Wood Trader.
Wood Trader does all of their own work, so they were able to accommodate my requests– horizontal orientation of the silk grain of the mat, and a gold hue rather than silver rubbed on the shadow box frame. The pieces on display in the store are gorgeous, and my pieces came out just as beautiful. The best part was that my entire order cost less than what the craft store wanted for just one piece.
I am converted, and I will forever take my art to Wood Trader.

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! The Wood Trader has never let me down – from fine art to sentimental treasures, their framing has always been spot on! I’ve recently moved to California (after 20 years in the Heights), and when I needed some antique glass for a framing project, they were the ones who had it, and mailed it to me in perfect condition!
