Dr. Alan Wong and his team specialize in helping patients of all ages achieve a beautiful and confident smile. In addition to traditional braces, clear ceramic braces and Invisalign, our practice offers a unique orthodontic experience by using the most advanced technology available (digital radiography, self-​ligating braces (Speed/​Smart-​Clip), TADS).

History

Established in 2007.

Dr. Alan Wong took over an existing orthodontic practice established in Clermont since 1996. Dr. Alan Wong brought with him advanced orthodontic techniques and contemporary materials to practice. In 2010, the name of the practice was changed to Modern Orthodontics to reflect the vision and practice ideals set forth by Dr. Wong. In October 2012, Modern Orthodontics moved to their new state of the art facility conveniently located in the heart of Clermont near Highway 50 and 27.

Business Owner

Dr. Alan Wong was born and raised in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He received both his bachelor’s and dental degrees from the University of Florida. He completed his orthodontic residency training at the world renowned Montefiore Medical Center in Bronx, NY. In his final year of orthodontic residency, he served as chief resident. He has also served as a dentist with the rank of Lieutenant in the United States Navy. During his service, he was stationed in Bangor, Washington and San Diego, California. He has had the opportunity to literally live in every corner of the United States and is happy to return to his home state.
