The restaurant is close and tidy and contains booths around the perimeters and long tables in the center in which you may sit across from a totally new face as you enjoy your soup and sandwich, which is ok. Its good to make new friends. Simply put, I love this place and they hav very good pizza. I would recommend a large Sausage and Pepperoni pie and eat it right there in the restaurant, fresh and hot. Many folks order food to go. I have had their great sized and fresh salads, nice cold subs and hot philly cheesesteaks too. Owners and staff are friendly and helpful. It is a simple menu, but the workers put their heart into it. Everything is made fresh and hot for you on the spot. Daytime patrons run the gamut from telephone linemen, construction workers, accountants and office workers and computer people like me. This is a great sign because sometimes the pickiest patrons are the hardest working in their jobs and they want taste and value too. Awesome lunch which is packed and THAT is a good sign because the food and service are well known to be superb. Dinnertimes are usually less crowded and relaxed yet the view of the many many TVs keeps you occupied. Keep coming back, it works if you work it, so work it you’re worth it.

Went here on a Sunday to watch some football… wasn’t packed and we had great service(Thanks, Molly!) pizza was great and the salad was amazing, and HUGE! They have a smaller place right next door that is more of a deli set up if you’re looking for something quicker and not a sit down/hang out type of place.

First off the Taphouse portion smelled like a$$ but my friend had a stuffy nose so I decided to power through because they serve beer. Got my food, dug in, found a HAIR. They gave me a new plate which only had rice and chicken on it(ordered the Asian skillet which came with garlic knots and salad, both which I hadn’t eaten.) They poured me a second beer at lunch AFTER I said no as a condolence for the hair… Its lunch, I gotta go back to work, comp my food instead. Anyway, bad experience all around; I will not be coming back.

Love this place… loads of TV’s and lots of craft beer on tap. Pizza is always good and the Greek salad is enough for two! Molly always keeps this place operating.

We have been testing out a lot of pizza places. This is our second time getting pickup from here. The pizza is definitely one of the better ones we have come across and I do recommend it. The garlic knots are good, but I personally wish they were bite size. We tried the mozzarella sticks for our first time, the breading is really good, but the cheese wasn’t melted enough. The employees are super friendly. The owner was there this time and he gave us a free brownie. Thanks Mike. It was really delicious and plenty big for us to share. This might be an odd comment, but I really like their menu board. Unilocal states they are open Sunday, but please note they are actually closed. No worries. There’s plenty of other days to get their tasty food.

This pizza would be good if the crust wasn’t so salty and the pizza wasn’t so salty, I’m pretty sure even the box was salty

We come here every time we vacation in the area for the wonderful stromboli! The pizza is good too but not on the same level… We ordered pizza by the slice, and the thing is that additions are added atop a cheese pizza base so not«cooked-in». If ordering a whole pizza, this would not be an issue perhaps.(Just to keep in mind) Anyhow, the older lady is always very kind and welcoming. Good old hole in the wall type of place. A must try.

In the mood for a pizza and let’s face it, the chain pizza-parlors are disgusting. I highly support all local businesses and suggest all reviewers do the same. We hadn’t tried Mike’s yet, and the reviews overall were good. I called for delivery on Thu, 5:30 time frame and knew the wait would be long(rush hour traffic is a bear), so we were looking at an hour. So I opted for pick-up; 15 mins? Sold! We ordered a large pepperoni pizza and garlic knots. The pizza was good, fresh dough, hand spun, and not greasy. The pizza was a 3.75 out of 5. I recommend this pizza. We also ordered the garlic knots. Sorry Mike’s, but my definition of garlic knots and yours, are way off par. We received 6 or 7 little«rolls» not knots of any kind, with garlic butter on them. They smelled good, so I dug in. They tasted like under-cooked lobs of dough; in the trash they went. 1 out 5 on them. Everything on a menu can’t be stellar. On pick-up, I also noticed Mike’s is a pub too. I didn’t venture in very far but it looked like a good hangout from what I saw. Definitely give Mike’s a try and stay away from the Papa-Hut-O’s garbage that’s being marketed to us as pizza. Try local!

Good subs and great pizza. I find myself coming back here more and more. They open early and don’t charge to deliver their kick ass breakfast pizza. It seriously feeds 10 people.

I like this place. Consistently good pizza at a fair price. Not a fancy place, but a good place to get a slice really quick … NY style.

Color me unimpressed. After hearing all these wonderful things about Mike’s, when I had to work late I called in a take-out order of eggplant parmesan(think it should be parmegiana – or however it is spelled but not parmesan). It was okay… neither spectacular or horrible. The caesar salad? Huge pieces of romaine lettuce… not close to bite size, with a bunch of canned parmesan thrown on top. Supposed to come with garlic knots but nada when I got back to office… my fault for not checking I suppose. Eggplant hard to find. Will probably try again but note to self… verify order is complete before leaving.

Had never heard of this place until my manager had some pizza delivered to our workplace. Decided to check out the restaurant with my son. You order at the counter and then find a table. When your food is ready, they call out what the food is instead of taking names or numbers. So could be confusing if someone else ordered same thing as you etc. Not sure how busy they get though for this to be an issue. Ordered a slice of pepperoni and 5BBQ wings. Pizza is good– nice NY style with a good crust. Wings were a bit saucy but was very crispy the way we like them. Don’t order the spaghetti. I for some reason ordered spaghetti and It was seriously lacking in flavor and kinda soupy. I ordered w/meatballs and it came out with two small meatballs and lots of noodles. I ended up eating the meatballs and garlic knots that came w/spaghetti and threw away most of the noodles. Side note– garlic knots were delicious. Would def order those again. Prices are on point. The guy at the counter was nice and kept my lasagna to go warm in the oven for us until we left. Which my husband ate all of and had nothing to say which means he liked it. Oh, and there’s a bar next door which I think is attached to this place, but separate entrances. Will have to check that out next time.

For $ 20 you get get a soup pizza. Make sure you have silverware because the crust is so soaked in wetness it’s not eatable otherwise. Never again

So I’ve been here a few times on my lunch hour and the pizza is pretty good, right… Today my husband brings me an eggplant parm … I was just in the mood. Madddddonnnne this eggplant was soooooo good, yet soooooo bad. Fried to perfection, smothered in cheese. Never again — but if you’re looking to experience heaven, order that! Oh mannnn.

We happened to see Mike’s when heading back to our hotel one evening last week and decided to give them a go. I ordered an individual cheese pizza with the intention of having enough left over for a couple of lunches while my husband was at work. I just got a plain cheese. When we walked in we noticed that the sandwich the girl behind the counter was making looked AMAZING. When my husband ordered one — an Italian beef — the owner happened to be at the counter and joked that my husband wanted his sandwich. Apparently the one the girl had been making was for him. Mike ever so graciously gave my husband his sandwich since it was ready to go. Very nice! My pizza seemed to take forever to make. We had also ordered some garlic knots. Mike through in a couple of their brownies for us to take. Again, very nice! The pizza was good. Not the best, but it was hot and fresh and substantial. It was very thick crust. I think that the guy making it actually made it thicker than they typically would for a personal pizza. He had to cut it down to make it fit into the box. It was a good pizza all in all though. My husband’s sandwich was really good, he said. I didn’t try it but it looked like a Portillo’s Italian beef… which is a good thing. The garlic knots were good. Over all, good food but amazing customer service despite it taking a bit longer than I got the impression it normally would take. We would most definitely be regulars based on our experience.
