Specialties

Cuvée 103 Bistro brings fresh food only (no freezer) to New American Cuisine, with an emphasis on fine steaks, and entrees that feature French, Italian, Asian, and Southern American influences. Our menu evolves seasonally as well. Small plates start at $ 7 and entrees range from $ 17 to $ 32. Our 26 ft wine bar offers 150 selections by the bottle and 47 by the glass. We also offer about 24 craft beers. Additionally, live music will be featured most Friday & Saturdays.

History

Established in 2014.

John & Dana Zias had a vision for a venue that offered a blend of fine food at reasonable prices, a great wine selection, and a place that people could gather to hear great live music. With John’s extensive background in both the music and wine business, and Dana’s vision for creating an inviting environment, they drew on their son Ace’s experience and contacts in the restaurant world. As a result, they have hired Chef Jason McFarland who brings his culinary talents most recently from his time at Jackson’s Bistro Bar & Sushi as their Exec. Sous Chef in Tampa, FL & Cinebistro in Hyde Park, Tampa, FL as their Executive Chef, as well as another 15 years previously in the restaurant & hospitality field.

Business Owner

Hi, I’m John Zias, who along with my wife Dana, have recently opened Cuvée 103 Bistro located in Northwood Commons in Safety Harbor Florida.

I received my Bachelor’s degree from the Berklee College of Music in 1978. I have performed over 4400 gigs in my working life, have recorded extensively, and have done nine national tours opening for Bands such as Little Feat, The Radiators, and Donna the Buffalo, and have played with two members of The Grateful Dead.

In 1990, while raising a family with Dana, I became owner of The Wine and Spirit Company of Commack in NY, and later, Vanderbilt Fine Wines and Spirits, from 1994 – 2005. My experience in the wine business exposed me to the finest dining that New York had to offer.

We have brought this background to to our vision of Cuvée 103 as a showplace for fine food, an extensive wine experience, and great live music.
