I grew up on Umberto’s in NHP and this is the closest I’ve found to NY pizza in Clearwater. It’s a 20 minute drive for me to get there, but it is well worth it. Not only does the menu include the typical pizzeria fare such as pizza, calzone and stromboli, but you can also find all the parm sandwiches and several pasta dishes. It is definitely worth going out of your way to get a slice (or five!).

Excellent new pizza place on Drew St., wanted to give it a try as it is right up the road from my house. Wanted to keep it simple on the first try, so I ordered 2 cheese slices. The slices were excellent, good size and a good tasting cheese and sauce combo. Give them a try, I don’t think you will be disappointed.
