At BestMade, we specialize in kitchens and baths. We are local craftsman who share a unique enthusiasm for an extremely fine finish. We are expert contractors who also own a 6000 square foot cabinet manufacturing facility in Clearwater, FL. Our capabilities include all sorts of fine finish carpentry, built ins, cabinet making, stair cases, doors, and crown. We also specialize in condo and full home renovations including water proofing, building custom shower enclosures, wood and stone flooring, drywall, plaster, tiling, and expert interior and exterior painting. We have built hundreds of breathtaking projects in the Tampa Bay area.

History

Established in 2014.

Goran Mrkaja opened his cabinet shop in 2002 with his late father Slavko. Later he founded SIG Millwork. David Blake entered the remodeling business in late 2004 and later partnered with Evergreen Development LLC in 2007. Both companies had built kitchens together and apart for several years. In 2012 a partnership was born to offer our customers the best of both worlds. Expert contracting with an eye for detail, and robust, all wood, made to order cabinets. After 2 years, it became apparent that the combination of talent and resources provided a unique customer experience and a finish which was hard to beat. In 2014 the paperwork was filed and a partnership, years in the making, was officially named BestMade.
