Based in Clearwater, Tampa Bay, Florida, we build custom wood cabinets for both homes and businesses in the entire Tampa Bay area. Our signature is our exquisite custom kitchen cabinetry. We also provide bathroom vanities, laundry room cabinets, built-​ins, wall units, custom office furniture, reception stations and much more. Clients choose from a wide range of door designs, moldings, finishes, hardware, and customized pullouts and at a variety of price points. Our kitchen & bathroom countertops are offered in laminate, wood, metal, solid surface, quartz and granite countertops, to name a few. We also build laminate cabinets, stock boxes, and are a dealer for Showplace Wood Products. We have in-​house interior design services and utilize computer generated drawings to help your dream kitchen or bath become a reality.

History

Established in 1970.

In 1970, Clarence Peck started a small shop in Clearwater called A-​1 Custom Cabinets. The company continued under its original ownership, at its original location until 1994 when it was sold to Clearwater High School graduates Rick Amorose and Art Whitney. In 1996, Rick was bought out by a not-​so-​silent partner name Diane Zitello, an astute woman who two years later became Diane Whitney. As co-​owners, they upgraded the operations with state-​of-​the-​art machinery allowing for exceptional quality and increased production. Sadly, but gladly, they retired the slogan «In it’s same Clearwater location since 1970» when expansion required a move. The new location, just a block away, provided an additional 6,000 square feet where they were able to install more equipment and open their own finishing department. With the approach of the company’s 40^th anniversary, the couple are both proud and overwhelmed by the many blessings they have received.
