Frenchy’s Off the Hook

This is a neat shop just next to Frenchy’s which is a quick walk from Mandalay Ave. They have a lot of gift items and things that are a bit more crafty. It’s a smaller store, but laid out well. The employee working there was friendly. She let my wife try on a number of rings in hopes they would have one that fit.
If your looking for something as a memento or a gift for someone, give this store a look. They have a much better selection of good items instead of the other beach shops in the area.

Frenchy’s Off the Hook is a fun store next to one of the Frenchy’s restaurants. It is bright colorful, and super tropical.
There are tons of knick knacks, gift things, jewelry, home decorations, souvenirs, tshirts, and kid’s toys. There are tons of things to look at in all directions.
Many of the things are quite quirky, and I’m sure u may not find it anywhere else. It is worth a browse. U may find something u never knew u needed.

We have loved Frenchy’s since the beginning. Great grouper sandwiches, fun atmosphere. However the gift shop mgr gave us a bad taste. We bought a Frenchy’s Tervis cup as a birthday gift. Within 1 day the cup leaked. The very next day we took it back to swap for another. The mgr, with an attitude, didn’t want to make it right but wanted us to ship back to Tervis ourselves. With much hesitation, she finally swapped it. Love you Frenchy’s grouper burger but, won’t be back to your gift shop.

Frenchy’s is the best place in Clearwater period! Their food is amazing and their staff is the friendly and very good. You feel at home at Frenchy’s!

This is a great little store I have been coming back to over the years.

Ran by Frenchy’s, a popular local company with four restaurants in Clearwater Beach, this shop has items for just about everyone on your gift-​giving list.
The shop is next door the original Frenchy’s Café, and the front hosts additional outdoor seating for the restaurant.
Upon setting foot inside the shop door, you’re immediately overwhelmed with all of the items for sale — jewelry, license plates, wine glasses, books, photo frames… you name it.
While there are many «Made in China» items, Frenchy’s Off the Hook also sells items made by local artists, which is always what I’m after. My living room now houses several pieces of Bay area art purchased here.
On this last visit I didn’t see very many items that fancied me, but did hone in on a local artist’s bracelet made from recycled materials. The artist had posted a sign stating the bracelet could be sized, and to ask the store attendant for assistance. However, upon inquiry, the attendant bluntly stated it could not be sized. When I politely reminded her of the sign, she did not respond. Thinking she did not hear me, I began to repeat myself a little louder when she abruptly stated, «I don’t know HOW to size them… OKAY?!»
Geez, ok.
Needless to say, I walked out of there empty-​handed this go.

You have to get the grouper sandwich. Small place on the beach don’t go to either place right next to it.
