We were first time home buyers and needed our septic tank pumped. After reading other reviews I decided to give them a try. Gave them a call and Joe came out very quickly! Wow… is all I have to say. Joe is an amazing guy! He went above and beyond to explain things to me and made sure I knew exactly what he was doing, and even took the time to share with me information about our propane tank and heating unit! Talk about customer service! After he left I received multiple follow up emails to make sure everything was still ok, and he also included paperwork for first time home buyers on what to look for and how to maintain our septic system! This company is a must use and I would recommend them to everyone (even strangers)! If you go with Neuse River then you will get top notch service and you won’t be disappointed! ! Thx Joe!

Great service! Prompt, clean and professional. Well versed on the business and gave detailed explanations of service performed. Provided educational materials concerning care and maintainable and recommendations about time to schedule future service. (Not inflated or exaggerated ! Suggested 5 years in my case for next cleaning.)

I knew there was some issue with my septic system, but didn’t know where to turn. Luckily, I called the right guy – Joe Hebert of Neuse River Septic. I explained what was going on, and he was sure he knew what it was. His calm, friendly, and knowledgeable attitude was so reassuring that it wasn’t anything major at all. He came the next day at the appointed time, took care of the issue, explained everything to me in terms I could understand, and gave me back my sanity – all for a very reasonable price. He also followed up with me by email, and sent me documents on maintaining my system (saved me a lot of money on Riddex as well!). I would highly recommend Joe and his company. Thanks, Joe!

A fair price for the service and Joe was very friendly. A big part of my 5-​star rating is the communications between Neuse River and myself and my wife. When I originally called to inquire about the service, I had a return call within 10 minutes. The scheduled day of service, Joe exhibited the CNN strategy — Constant Updates! I had an ETA then when circumstances changed — long wait at the effluent discharge joint — I received a call with an update. It doesn’t take much to make people happy! When everyone is charging about the same price for them same service, you need a way to differentiate yourself. Neuse River Septic realizes the way to make yourself stand out is with superior customer service.
