Paul T. Erker was born in 1961 in St. Louis, Missouri. Raised in Clayton, MO. Attended DeSmet Jesuit High School and St. Louis University. Joyfully married for 31 years, proud father of 4 wonderful children and grandfather to 1 beautiful granddaughter. Paul began working in the alarm business in 1982 while in college, and after 13 years learning the trade, Paul began Erker Security Systems, Inc. in 1994.

My family has always had security alarms, and has had Erker for as long as they’ve been in business. Needless to say, when I bought my first house I had an Erker system installed. When we recently bought a new house without an alarm, I briefly looked at some competitors, but they really couldn’t compare to Erker in price or service. Sure, some of those national companies offer what sounds like a good deal, but check out the BBB complaints on them. When it comes to security, you really want a LOCALLY owned company that cares about their customers and providing excellent customer service. Paul is really just so friendly & helpful. You won’t get a hard sell from him, just suggestions for making your home or business safer. The technicians that installed our latest system were well-​spoken, nice to our dogs and cleaned up after themselves — I felt perfectly safe having them in my house for the day. They have very fair pricing & state of the art equipment. Though I can’t say that I have experience with any other company, I am 100% satisfied with Erker’s pricing & service, and highly recommend.
