Sunday Diner where every meal feels like Sunday dinner. Locally owned and family operated. Features made from scratch home style cooking. Open for breakfast every day at 8 a.m.
Our party of 12 had a great experience at Dixie Diner. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a smile. The food is honest to goodness Southern food and man is it DELICIOUS. We all tried a variety of breakfast options– favorites included biscuits and gravy and the bacon pancakes! The food is also amazingly priced. Our hungry friend got the Best Deal platter, biscuits and gravy, bacon pancakes and coffee for under $ 15! We wanted to try the desserts(fresh homemade strawberry shortcake!) but were just too full from breakfast. It’s tucked away in a shopping center– take the time to make your way to Dixie Diner and you won’t be disappointed!

This place makes great meals. We stopped for breakfast prior to returning to NJ. We are always looking for good Southern food while in the South. Well, this place has it all. We loved the biscuits and gravy which were made with bacon and no sausage as we’re accustomed. The owner seeing our skepticism offered us a taste, which led to ordering it! The biscuits were great. We also ordered their Mexican egg dish served with a red and green salsa, beans and rice. Unbelievable. The kids loved the pancakes and fresh smoothies. The only regret is we left for home. She also makes fried chicken, meatloaf, grits, all we’ll have to try next year. This is a find!
