I have had an account with Schwab for more than 10 years, and my wife opened one about a year ago when we were moving around a lot. The customer service is unmatched by any other investment company I have heard of. On the phone they will resolve the issue while speaking with you so you don’t have to worry anymore. Schwab bank reimburses ATM fees and makes it easy to transfer between investment and bank accounts.
Now for this location, I met with (INSERT NAME HERE) to talk about retirement account options and to combine finances with my wife. Not only did he help use settle the joint account concerns, he provided very useful information about the market and options we have now and in the future. He catered towards our plans, hopes and dreams instead of putting us into a «1 plan fits all» club like some of the other big companies.
Schwab is a great investment company for people who want to manage (all or part) their own finances. There are loads of resources available to clients assisting you on making your investment decisions. Research is easy and intuitive and trading is the same way. I will remain a loyal advocate of Chuck.
