I’m originally from NYC and I love frozen yogurt. I’m used to going to Pinkberry or Red Mango(Red Mango is preferred over Pinkberry) so to say the least, I was excited when I went to the mall and saw a frozen yogurt shop. I waited in line for a lady and her kids to be served as they asked a million questions(please note that there were only two employees, probably the owner and his daughter) until the girl took my order. I went for the small green tea yogurt(I almost always order the green tea from Red Mango) and was asked if I wanted the lychee. I figured that the lychee would be a topping, but oops, to my surprise, they pulled out this frozen pack and weighed the lychee then dumped it into this instrument where it was pumped like a lady pumping water from a well in the early 1900s. It was not freshly made yogurt as I am used to from the ALL the places I have preciously been to. When I got to the topping, I asked for mangoes, raspberries and blackberries. Here’s the very intriguing part, I was given TWO blackberries, THREE raspberries and THREE pieces of very small diced mangoes. WOW! How cheap is that? Not only did they weigh the lychee, but they counted the amount of fruit that was in my cup and charged me FIFTYCENTS for each selection of topping. NEVER have I encountered that. In my experience, I have always been given generous amounts of topping despite the size I ordered. Usually I could have ordered a medium cup, which is about 10 ounces or so filled entirely and even tipped at the top like soft serve with mangoes, strawberries, blackberries, raspberries and mochi(all with super generous amounts, but I am not complaining) totaling about $ 6 – 8, the more toppings the higher the price. This order totaled $ 5.08 for something that tasted not so great, with what seemed like nearly no fruit for the priced I paid for each topping and not really authentic. Not to mention, it was finished in about five bites and the center was hallow. Not worth going to or mentioning. Horrible.
