It’s no secret that salon employees everywhere are constantly trying to upsell their customers. The employees and owner at Nail Spa Experts are no exception. Be prepared for a barrage of offers for more services.
Also, be absolutely, positively, abundantly clear what you are willing to pay. I was quoted $ 40 for a mani/​pedi and $ 8 for a brow wax. Maybe it’s my old school math but in my book that’s a total of $ 48. Imagine my surprise when I went to pay and the total was then $ 68 plus tip. Of course, when I questioned the associate about the discrepancy, I got nothing but a blank stare.
The most ironic part of my visit was that the owner went on and on about how much she loves her customers. How does trickery exude love for customers or even promote repeat business?
The two friends and I who visited discussed this treatment. The average service and poor customer pricing experience will keep us away the next time we treat ourselves.

This place was awful. Lousy service and rude employees. I thought the guy was going to tear my cuticles off. I’ll never go back again!
