Everything is good. Love the sweet tea. Menu has a large variety. Recommend the sweet corn muffin and the Georgia pulled pork.

I used to really like Famous Dave’s. For a chain, the service and food was reliable. Unfortunately, the overall experience has declined recently. First, they raised their prices. That wasn’t a deal breaker, food costs are going up everywhere. I understand that. Next they eliminated most of their barbecue sauces leaving just 2 – 3 to choose from instead of the previous 5 – 6. Finally, they stopped serving free chips to sample the sauces with. The chips now cause $ 2+ for a tiny bowl(maybe 10 chips). No one of these single things ruins the experience but all together they take away the warm welcoming feel of Dave’s and replace it with a sense of being nickel and dimed. After eating there dozens of times I doubt I’ll go back again.

Business trip… Typical Dave’s, not much more to say than that other than, can always count on Dave’s to deliver on my occasional craving for BBQ and cold beer. Beer is cold, service is good, atmosphere is good, BBQ satisfies the urge, OK. Thankyou Dave’s for being here while I’m a long way from home, tired after a long hot day of work.

Everything was really good. We got the smoked salmon appetizer it was good and spicy. We also got the burnt tips and they were really good. We shared a combo for 1 and we had leftovers but we did have the 2 appetizers split between 5 of us before. Everyone enjoyed the food

I always have a great experience here. Brad was a great server! Quick and on it! Had our drinks and food in a reasonable time! Request Brad he’s the best!!! My food was hot, fresh, and deliciousness! My armaretto sour was tasty and very sour!!! The manager came to each individual table and asked were we ok? I love Famous Dave’, especially this location!

Love this place. We always say Famous Daves never disappoints. After our favorite waitress quit we were kinda sad for a bit(we usually sat in the bar area). Today we had children with us so we sat in regular seating and Dustin was our waiter. He was freaking amazing! Super nice, kept our drinks filled, and he was fast!

My husband and I went here before Christmas shopping one day. He chose, I agreed. From the beginning we had an exceptional server. Her name was Smiley. Request her if you go, it will be worth it. She’s very thorough and seemed to genuinely care about the patrons satisfaction. We ordered burnt ends for an app. Well, let’s say I was less than impressed. Very chewy and more fat than anything. I didn’t like them. At all. Neither did the hubby. For dinner I just ordered a salad because I really couldn’t deal with another disappointment after the burnt ends. It’s a salad, can’t really mess that up. It was good. Hubby ordered the pulled pork sandwich and some sides. Can’t remember the sides. He liked them though. However, he couldn’t eat his entire sandwich because he said it wasn’t good. Overall, the food was not good and the service from Smiley was phenomenal. Which we did leave all of this on their comment cards they gave us.

Gotta love this place! I know a guy who is known for his excellent preparation of ribs, and when he is too tired to go through the time involved, buys Famous Dave’s, put his own sauce on them and da ta, no one the wiser! NOT a place for an intimate date, it is hard to carry on a conversation due to the noise. It would be nice if they had an area for people who want to get away from all the chaotic chatter and noise.

Excellent food. I’m a big fan of all things BBQ. Stopped in here with a few buddies last minute for a bite to eat before heading back to where we are from. I had BBQ chicken and a BBQ beef brisket. Excellent service and food all around. Would love to eat here again. It’s awful far away though.

I was actually surprised I liked it this much but Famous Dave’s is great BBQ. For the midwest its some of the best you can get. I’ve been to BBQ joints in Texas and this stacks up pretty well. My wife and I split the feast for 2, it’s brought out on a trash can lid and ours had ribs, brisket, and pulled pork. For a chain restaurant I was a little skeptical at first but after trying each of the meats I was very impressed. The meat fell right off the ribs, the brisket was very tender and the pulled pork had great smoke flavor. They have a pretty wide selection of sauces so there is something for everyone. Our waitress brought out a bowl of BBQ chips that let you sample each of the sauces so you can get an idea of what you like. Now I’m not sure how other Famous Dave’s locations hold up but this one in Clarksville is very good if you’re in the mood for some BBQ.

Rating Dave’s Famous BBQ is difficult. If I were to rate it on a relative, Southern Indiana scale, it would do pretty decently. As far as bar-b-que goes in this area, it tastes good. Their catering made my manufacturing facility VERY happy. The restaurant is clean, well-appropriated and serves you up quickly. It was a nice touch to have BBQ chips on the table before the meal to serve as testers for the 5 sauces on the table. It gave our group a solid opportunity to taste the different offerings. I preferred«Devil’s Spit». The service was good. We were seated quickly and all of our interactions with the staff were up to par. No complaints. The pork sandwich was good, but not great. The potato salad was a little bland and could have used some paprika, but overall, it wasn’t bad. But, if I have to rate it on an absolute scale, I can’t help but think back to REALBBQ joints. It quickly makes me see how much of a chain mentality Dave’s comes in with. This isn’t gin-u-wine, family cookin’. This is consistent food that tastes fine, but won’t leave you craving more.

I like Famous Dave’s, but can’t really figure out why. It may be the wood booths with knickknacks and trinkets of American nostalgia gracing the walls, the laid back family atmosphere or having a table loaded down with good barbeque. I can tell you, one thing I know for sure about this place. The more the merrier, bring friends, bring a boat load of them and order feasts till the table id loaded for bear covered in trashcan lids piled high with ribs and brisket. The corn bread muffins here a pretty good they are dry at times but the make up for that by bringing you lots of butter. The barbeque here is good and the sauces are good, as for the mac and cheese is not to my taste, the jalapenos don’t enhance the flavor just over power it. And they bring chips to the table now eat them plain or use them to try all of the different barbeque sauces. The service is good and the food is good, too. I just can’t give them four stars, they don’t seem to be consistent still. I’ve been here a few times and I’ve had dry chicken and brisket or blah service. They have the potential to be great like the other ones of this chain I’ve been to, but they never seem to get it all together at the same time.

I love famous dave’s growing up we used to come to this place and always get the same thing. Spicy Cajun Chicken Sandwich. This one is a beaut. It’s a char grilled chicken breast topped with a remoulade sauce then covered with fried onion straws then the regular fixins. I get a craving for this thing all the time, but there aren’t any in my area. Every time I’m near Louisville for work I try and stop by here and get one. I love it. Also their different sauces are all great. My fav of course is the Big n’ Sassy. I’ll keep coming here as long as this sandwich is on the menu!

Never a disappointment. Family of 6 and we all had a wonderful meal. Can’t beat the ribs but we had a little bit of everything. That’s saying a lot since two family members are gluten free and another is a vegetarian. Service is attentive and pleasant.

I enjoy Famous Dave’s every time I am there. Their chopped pork is always good and pretty consistent among all i’ve had. The service here was good and took care of us. My mother in law even passed the server(a nice middle age guy) her number :) No complaints here, they get the job done every time.

Great ribs. The sides are good but the cornbread that comes with the ribs is the best. The sweet tea was excellent as was the service. Famous Dave’s has a great down home atmosphere with swing from the past. Great dinner spot.
