History
Established in 2009.
This former Farmer Jack grocery store in the Independence Square Shopping Center was reopened as a Salvation Army Thrift Store in November of 2009. At 40,124 sq. ft. takes its place in line as the 3rd largest store in the fleet, just 71 sq. ft. behind the Rochester Hills store. This site provides employment to approximately 55 full and part time employees. Located just off of the well travelled I-75, it offers easy access for donation drop off and an outstanding selection for shoppers. Store proceeds and donations support The Salvation Army’s Southeast MI A.R.C.
