Picture this: A summer day, you’re at the circus. You’re wondering around the mid-way, you decide to try the «Hit the Balloon with the Dart» game. After 3 darts you hit nothing, so you give the guy more money. After those 3 darts, nothing. You give even more money… Now, you’re getting the picture, there’s no winning. The random darts should stay on the mid-way while your social media marketing should be targeted and successful. And that, is why I opened The Business Squirrel.
The Business Squirrel grew from my passion to help people succeed combined my passion for how people think and the desire to know why they do what they do. Social Media Management mixes my skills with my passions and creates platforms of possibilities, Public Relations, broad reach, and its diverse opportunities to grow connections and build branding.

Business Owner
I’m Betsy Rackliffe. My past experiences has a great combination that provides an interested approach to social media marketing. I have an understanding of cognitive learning along with knowledge of how the brain perceives information and a passion for «why» people act/react the way they do and what that really «means». All of that means, I can construct messages that people understand and want to follow thru with the «call to action».
I have owned an interior design studio along with a short time as a gallery manager. I’ve worked for years learning how to assist people in business and in retail. There are two passions that guide all my decisions: 1) Helping other business owners and making sure they succeed. 2) Customer Service by making sure my clients are happy and in turn that their customers are happy. I’m have a natural understanding of relationship marketing and I combined it with a growing knowledge from being self-taught about marketing through social media.
