Had a private event(engagement party) at the winery after hours. It was fantastic! The winery is beautifully landscaped and decorated, such a charming and romantic location for an event or for wine tasting. And the space is immaculately maintained, both indoors and outdoors. Every wine we tasted was great, we even took a few bottles home! I also purchased one of their scented candles, which smells fabulous and has lasted a very long time. Craig and Julie were so friendly and hospitable, they went out of their way to make sure the event went smoothly and were incredibly helpful and accommodating with all the set up/service/clean up. Will definitely be going back for wine tasting next time I am in the area, and I highly recommend the winery as an event venue!

My girlfriend and I visited Julietta Winery for their Grape Stomping event on Saturday, September 26, 2015. It was a great event with a lot of activities including, cork art for the kids, field games, various vendors, a live musical artist, a lobster food truck, and of course grape stomping and a costume contest! When we first arrived we admired the beautiful landscaping and architecture, the gorgeous roses, and the relaxing atmosphere. As we entered the wine tasting room we were greated by several staff that were helpful and knowledgeable about the wines they had to offer. We chose a delicious bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon that we were able to enjoy outside on the patio while we enjoyed the weather. From time to time, the owners Julie and Craig stopped by our table to make sure we were enjoying our time there. As much as there was to do at the event, it was a beautiful day at Julietta Winery and we just relaxed, listened to music, and enjoyed the atmosphere. I can’t wait to come back and bring more of my friends with me!

We visited for a party held for a family member. The space was great, everyone had a great time. Craig and Julia were more than welcoming, but the wines, oh the wines. 5STARS. I’m not kidding. Knees buckled. I would not quite call myself a wine«expert,» but yeeeesh. Needless to say, we left with a nice haul for our cellar . Oh, and they have big Jenga. Google it.

Everything is perfection. My friends threw my Fiancé and I an intimate engagement party last weekend on site we were simply blown away. The location is stunning, and quiet and secluded. Inside everything is decorated so thoughtfully. The event was held on the darling patio right next to the tasting room, but a guests had full access to the inside. Our party was catered and the owners paid attention to every detail to make sure guests were happy and had what they needed outside of just the wine. The wine is the best part… Many guests decided to taste and purchase wine themselves regardless of the fact that this was a hosted party. That is how good the wine is. The Cab is worth going back again and again. Several guests raved about how accommodating and warm the owners were with tasting and explaining the wines. It made our event so fun and I wish we could do it over and over again. I will use this place for future shower or small parties I throw. It was one of the best nights of our lives and the service was impeccable. Cannot wait to go back!

We are never disappointed when we visit. The grounds are stunning and sharing a bottle of wine on the patio is such a nice way to spend an afternoon. This place is family run and the wine is wonderful!!! We can’t wait to go back.

Went to visit this winery for the first time yesterday. I loved the outside patio with a large bocce ball court and giant Jenga! However, I am deducting a few stars for the tastings. When we got there it seemed they were closing soon, which was fine. But they didn’t have 3 – 4 wines available for tastings, also they seemed pretty tired and didn’t ask us any questions like if we had ever been there before, etc. also they pour very, very conservatively. Their cheapest bottle of wine is a $ 18 sauv blanc — and it’s not even very good… I will be back with friends to hang outside but can’t see myself buying a bottle here– just a glass!

Great first experience at Julietta. Beautiful grounds, tasty wine. They have a wonderful buttery Chardonnay(hard to find them buttery nowadays), the Big Red Blend was wonderful as was the Zin port. Will be back after June when the Zinfandel and Cab are ready.

So refreshing as a winery venue here in the local Sacramento area. Crisp new environment, patios, indoor and outdoor spaces. Most delightful pinot noir I’ve had in years. It will be booking up FAST so if you are looking for a place to hold a medium size wedding or event, get it reserved pronto! I’ll be doing flowers for a wedding here this June and it is going to be gorgeous. It’s already full of roses and blooms are popping out of every nook. Great find!

Julietta Winery was my second winery during my first trip to Clarksburg. While I wasn’t a huge fan of the wine, I was very impressed with their grounds and tasting room. Lots of gorgeous flowers on the lawn, with a mini putting range and a nice outdoor fire pit to sit around in rocking chairs. Also lots of other benches and chairs to sit outside on with a bottle of wine. The tasting room was very nicely air-conditioned(it was a warm day), and the service was on par. This place probably has the NICEST public restrooms I have ever used. Super clean and peaceful. For $ 5 a tasting(which goes towards your bottle purchase, should you choose to do so), it’s worth the trip.

Pinot Gris and Pinot Noir are the best I’ve ever tasted. Small and off the beaten track of wineries in Clarksburg. Very new but great wines. Prices are higher than others in the area but the owners are very nice and know their wine! Bring a picnic and buy a bottle and enjoy the serene surroundings.

We stumbled this winery after visiting Bogle Vineyard; it was just opened 3 months ago. The place looks small but nice. $ 5.00 tasting fee but if you buy a bottle, they waive the fee.(Basically, the tasting fee is waived for every bottle purchased-for example: 2 wine tasting($ 10), bought 2 bottles, $ 10 fee is waived). We only enjoyed the Pinot Gris out of everything we tasted. Love the logo :)

A solid 3.5 stars. Came on a Saturday late-afternoon — tastings are $ 5 for 5 of your choice, so we split down the middle and shared to get the most bang for our buck. This is a family-owned and family-run winery and tasting room, and we enjoyed the care they took in the design and feel. Only open for 3 months, things are still taking shape, but Julietta is definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area. Julie and Craig are the owners, and we were served by Julie’s daughter, who took an interest in telling us about the area, the wines, and her family. I usually choose reds, but actually preferred Julietta’s whites, and left with a bottle of the Chardonnay. They also offer a bold Port and excellent red blend(Beverly’s Legacy). Bottles run $ 20-$ 45. There’s a big Jenga stack, bocce ball, and soon to be a putting green. There’s also a fire pit and plenty of tables/chairs for picnicking or lingering around after a tasting. I ate a couple of the wild blackberries growing outside — those were good, too. :-P Nice place to go if you’re looking for somewhere even quieter than the other wineries in Clarksburg. Curious to see how this unassuming little place grows in the future — we wish them the best!

Beautiful setting, friendly and happy proprietors and guests, and GREAT wines… a must-see for wine-tasting in charming Clarksburg! Julie and Craig recently released their Cabernet Sauvignon and it is FABULOUS… and I’m a mostly white wine snob myself. The locale is wonderful with covered patio, bocce ball and giant Jenga game, a fire pit with seating… perfect for date night(as soon as I find a suitable date). This will definitely be a regular stop for me…

Welcome, to one of the most awkward tasting experiences of your life! Labor day weekend, and my BF and I are the only people in the entire(totally nice) tasting room. It is $ 5 per person to taste their non-reserve wines and $ 10 for the reserves. You get to choose five off a list, very light pours(maybe a tablespoon of wine) and while pouring our hostess informed us we could take our tablespoons of wine out to where her husband? is tearing up the brush behind the boche court with a backhoe. Hard pass there. My boyfriend bought a bottle of wine and she took off his $ 5 tasting fee, but not mine. At almost $ 30 a bottle for wine that seemingly was all from Russian River, this was not a must see in the Delta. Go to Bogle with the fun people.

New winery that is off by itself on the way to Clarksburg. The place is small and not very busy which means you will have the attention of the very friendly owners and their Labrador Retriever. We tasted the complete flight of wines and our group enjoyed everyone of them. We ended purchasing several bottles. Considering that I have over 800 bottles in my collection I do not buy new wine very often so it does have to be special. We enjoyed the wine and intimate atmosphere so much that we went ahead and had our picnic on the porch which is set up under a covered trellis with nice teak chairs and table. There is a Bocci Ball Court which we also availed ourselves of after our picnic. So fine wine, great atmosphere, friendly hosts, and entertainment and I have to give this place five stars.

Being brand new, I’m going to err on the side of higher stars because they’re just finding their footing. We came in with my husband’s parents last weekend for a late afternoon tasting. The location is off the beaten path, but really only a little bit further than the Old Sugar Mill. We had a lovely chat with Julie, the owner of the winery. The ones I tried: —Sauv blanc: delicious and crisp —Chardonnay: also quite good — buttery, oaky, and smooth — though at $ 26 pricey for an everyday wine —Pinot noir: surprisingly not good(or just not my style), even though it’s my favorite varietal of red wine. She had JUST opened the bottle before pouring our taste, so maybe with some breathing I’d taste what John H was talking about. —Zinfandel: tasty, though not entirely memorable — there are TONS of really good Zins in this area for lower price points —Tintoria: unusual, inky, deep flavors —Zin port: BEST of all those we tasted! I usually am not into dessert wines, but this was absolutely to die for. It’s not overly sweet and the brandy mixed in gives it such a lovely quality. At $ 35 for the tiny port bottle, I still thought it was worth it to take one home. The location is cool. They have a bocce ball court out the side, and a covered patio with tables and chairs(about 10 – 12 seats???). I could definitely see myself bringing friends back here to try the wines again. Hopefully they’ll get some events going and we can try again! $ 5 tasting fee, waived with purchase(how all wineries should do it!).

Wow we were blown away by the quality of the wines. The winery itself doesn’t look like much from the road, but don’t let that discourage you. Despite being open for only a few weeks, it’s quite pleasant on the inside, and they seem to be making quick strides improving the grounds even more. The owner/manager Craig was awesome to chat with. This isn’t a fancy winery with tons of tourists and wedding parties. But that’s not what we were looking for anyway. When you go to a tasting room, the Number 1 thing is the taste of the wines, right? Julietta has its competition beat by a long shot. Every wine we tasted blew us away, both reds and whites. The Pinot Noir was stunningly good, and we bought a bunch of bottles to bring home. Julietta is well worth the effort to get there. The wines are superb.
