Good food and great Tuesday deals for kids. Servers are all high school kids, and place is not as clean as it should be. But it’s fast food so it’s sort of OK. Needs another TV too.

This Moe’s is slowly becoming a permanent«linner» stop on our way back home after weekends in Harford. Staff is nice enough, food is fresh and warm, and there’s something for everyone. Except the dog. Music can be on the annoying side, but sports are on the tv. Bathrooms were scrutinized, and the wife gave the women’s room a C– for low t.p. volume, trash overflows, and t.p. stored next to the sink. Men’s room also needed a trash sweep, a sink cleaning, and the«please knock… men’s room door does not lock» sign on the door is over a month old… please fix the lock, Moe! Overall, a good stop…

Pretty disappointed in the quality of the food. I’ve been to Moe’s before and like it but this experience was a let down for me. Bathrooms were dirty as well as the salsa/drink area. Probably will continue to go to Moe’s, just not this location.

WELCOMETOMOE’S! Good close by spot in the Summit to get your burrito fix. You always get chips, and with a salsa bar, youre covered. Did you know they have bacon you can add to your burrito? *mind blown*

My daughter and I have eaten at Moe’s many a Monday night and the food is always fresh and tasty. The prices are great for healthy, nutritious selections. It’s the only fast food in town that I can be sure my daughter is getting an actual serving of veggies!

Moe’s is great. When I am in the area of Moe’s I always go to Moe’s since the food is always good and I haven’t had a bad experience. You get an ample amount of food which is always good when you get the biggest bang for my buck.

Decent burritos, and I love the salsa bar. I definitely prefer Chipotle, but Moe’s does the trick. I got a little bit of indigestion after eating my burrito, though. Might want to pack some antacids!

Much better than I expected going in. It’s no Chipotle but it hits the spot when there’s no other«fast casual» dining around. Everything is made fresh to order and the meat is fresh grilled(for the most part). Not great but not bad either. It’s become a regular stop for me as a post workout meal since it’s conveniently located across the street from my gym(wheat burrito extra chicken with guac, hold the cheese please!).

I travel to NYC from Rochester on a nearly weekly basis, and usually always stop at the Clark’s Summit Moe’s along the way. It’s one of the few 81S stops that has some variety listed on «Food» sign. Moe’s is great because you get to have some say-so in the creation of your meal. You step up to the counter and let the employees know exactly what you want in your meal, and how much of it you want! All of the food is fresh, and a nice healthy alternative to the typical fast food stop(depending on what you put on/in your meal). I usually go with a single taco. I know, how does that fill you up? Well, I load it with so many veggies that I usually need a fork to eat it(eating a taco with a fork is probably sacrilegious to many. I’m sorry, I’m cheap!). and then supplement the meal with the free chips and salsa. For about $ 4, I walk away completely satisfied. Food for thought for my fellow cheap eats Unilocalers!

Was craving Chipotle and wasn’t willing to drive a hour or two for it so I tried this substitute that was recommended by my co-worker. I heard it wasn’t going to be up to par with Chipotle so my expectations weren’t that high. The store itself is really really nice compared to most of the other stores in northeast PA so I’ll give them that. Flat screen tvs with college football on is definitely a +1. And the service was pretty good, the young employees were very polite, which was excellent as well. They definitely did not fit stereotypically expectations of young employees. The rating that I am giving Moe’s is solely based on the food. And although my expectations were low, it was still average to me. I tried the wheat tortilla… maybe that was the start of terrible customized burrito. The wheat taste just subtracted the overall taste of the burrito. They definitely do have more selection compared to Chipotle. I would say the chicken was pretty decent. The lettuce didn’t have much crunch to it, maybe not the freshest ingredients, but I would say this for most northeast PA restaurants so it was on par with other restaurants. The overall taste was dry, but they did have a salsa bar so I attempted to help the dryness with the salsa. I’m not used to the salsa but it gave it a weird taste when I used attempted one and then another. The chips on the side were nice(usually an additional price compare to chipotle). Overall, it was pretty average. Not bad in terms of price due to the amount of stuff I put in, but it just felt all mixed together. I don’t know how Chipotle does it… I can randomly put together something and it still goes really nicely. Maybe its that buttered rice they use at Chipotle. The only other thing that bothered me was the soda machine they had. They have one of those fancy coke machines were they can mix and do all kind of sodas(the touchscreen ones that are are red). It was overflooded and the soda was getting on the floor. The employees were quick to respond. I wouldn’t say this subtracted from the store itself because they don’t have any control over what the terrible customers were doing, but it sucks when they’re trying to scoop out all the soda in the machine because its overflowing and its a potential hazard for slipping. Would I come back? probably not on my own, but if in a social situation where a friend asked to go, I wouldn’t mind. «Welcome to MOES!» — screams the workers every 5 – 10 mins. Service: A. Food: Average.

Ah, Moe’s Southwest Grill… I expected more. I’d always heard that Moe’s was a much better Panchero’s, but a poor substitute for Chipotle, and that assessment was spot on. I visited Moe’s for the first time last night and while the food was alright and service was passable, I wasn’t blown away by any means. Upon entering, I’ve heard that guests are boisterously welcomed with any number of staff members yelling«WELCOMETOMOE’S!»…that did not happen once in my half-hour at the place. Staff morale must be at an all-time low or something. I walked over to the counter to begin ordering and the most timid, soft-spoken kid/employee asked if I wanted guacamole or not. I had to have him repeat his statement 3 times. I’m usually good with things like that, but it irked me right off the bat. I then asked if I could have hot salsa or something spicy on the burrito that was being stuffed with chicken, rice and cheese… and was told that the salsa bar was at the end of the line and I could dip some out for the chips. Can’t have hot/spicy salsa in my burrito? Unheard of. I’m already turned off. I also ordered peppers and onions, and the onions were overcooked and chewy. I had to pick them all out, which was also unpleasant. Hey, at least the cashier was outspoken and pleasant, which was a welcome change from the others in the Subway-esque food assembly line. I then took my tray(mine and my girlfriends’ burritos and tortilla chips) with our two drink cups over to the soda machine(which is outstanding, by the way… gains the place a star) to fill them. This becomes a problem… with one soda machine with a ton of options, people in Northeast PA are a very simple folk, and when faced with the daunting task of picking from one of approximately 45 varieties of fountain soda using a touch screen… things could get… backed up. My food was basically cold by the time I dipped out salsa for my chips and jockeyed for position among impatient kids and waited in line for a soda. One more note, I felt as though the staff was cleaning up around me as I ate… at 7:15pm on a Wednesday. There were way too many people on the clock at that point and most were doing things just to look useful. All this fun and more for $ 21.00 for fast food burritos. That’s a hell of a profit margin. Next time, I’ll make a burrito myself at home and save money and the hassle, and be able to enjoy food exactly how I’d like it. This Moe’s location has some work to do. I might even go as far as to suggest you drive an hour to Vestal, NY or Allentown to the nearest Chipotle. To quote Kevin McAllister when referring to Buzz’s girlfriend: «Woof.»

My favorite place for like the last year. You can get a ridiculous amount of food super fast, and super cheap! The food is great quality, I’ve never gotten sick from it(unlike fast food… ugh) Staff is nice, the interior is fine, just gets very crowded and busy on Mondays for the burrito deal — which is fine, it’s worth it! The soda machine is a lot of fun too.

Not nearly as good as Chipotle. For some reason, every ingredient is sub-par to that of Chipotle. However, $ 5.55 Tuesday deal may be worth it.

Moe’s is excellent as far as fast food goes. I’d compare it to a higher quality Chipotle or a Tex Mex version of Subway. This place makes Taco Bell seem like you’re eating out of the trash. I also really like the new drink machine they have that offers virtually every type of soda and flavored water you can imagine(and some you can’t). The service is also very good and courteous. I would definitely recommend.

I had a girlfriend that worked at a Moe’s in FL. This one is much nicer! It has it’s own building. I have tried many things on the menu, the«Homewrecker» has a place in my heart. Doesn’t beat Chipoltle, but there is not a Chipoltle anywhere near here. It is also a nice place to go if you are vegetarian. Give it a try if your driving by!

automatic 2 stars just because burritos in general are great, i must say this place kinda bites though, super watery burritos and bland sauces, its a blandfest, if Chewbacca wore it across his chest it’d be a BLANDolier! Not so cheap prices either. I’d MUCH prefer Taco Bell.

This is like a Mexican Subway — not in the same class as places like La Salsa/Chipotle/Baja Fresh(which don’t exist in NEPA), but more similar to Panchero’s, which claims to be Mexican. Moe’s settles for«southwestern» and that’s a more apt description. Ignore the confusing menu that differentiates menu items based on the addition or subtraction of something basic, like cheese or sour cream — just walk up and start ordering things. They’ll tell you what you end up with based on what you want on your item. I ended up with a «Homewrecker» burrito and it was okay. Nothing memorable, which for some places that serve burritos is actually a good thing. The chips & salsa bar is also okay; my favorite was the tomatillo(salsa verde). The other salsas were average. Moe’s is not expensive, but for a few bucks less you could do far, far worse(Taco Bell) or ridiculously more flavorful and actually Mexican(Italo’s, Chicano’s). If you want a fantastic burrito, head to South Side.

Moe’s is great. Their Southwestern Grill chains from the east coast up through the Midwest and gives people stuffed stomachs for relatively little money. Their friendly, charismatic attitude and comfortably decorated dining room coupled with unlimited chips and salsa make me feel right at home. Moe’s has plenty of ways to score free food, too: –Punch card –Surveys(at the end of receipt) –Buy $ 20 certificate get $ 5 free –Birthday club Most burrito’s average around $ 6 each, but the more you add to it, the more pricey it is. I usually buy the Joey Junior(a mid-sized burrito), load it with everything, and then eat all the chips and salsa I want — all for $ 4.76. Definitely try this place — I LOVE it!
