It’s good pizza. They messed up our order, because we wanted BBQ wings, but the BBQ pizza was pretty awesome.

Very soggy French fries. Inside tastes like powder. Pizza delivered cold. Buffalo piazza had very little buffalo sauce. Regular pizza had way too much sauce. Just very bad

I will give their pizza 4 stars when hot. Detract a star because it wasn’t good cold. A good standard of measure for good pizza is delicious hot and cold.

Unfortunately I was very disappointed by my first experience with this pizza place, making it my last. I found them through grub hub and ordered a margherita pizza. It came with regular marinara sauce, no crushed tomoato, one sad rectangle of mozzarella per slice, and dried basil flakes. When I think of margherita, I think rustic, fresh ingredients. Globs of mozzarella, hunks of tomoato, and fresh basil leaves. My son wouldn’t even eat this pizza. The frozen margherita from target outdoes this one. Sad experience.

I never used to really like pizza, but I love the way they make their pizza here. We frequent this place alot. Everything I have had here is good. The service is also fast and good as well. I love the renovations they did here. It gives it a much more inviting feel. I have also tried other dishes on their menu, like the chicken tenders & fries, spaghetti, linguini in clam sauce, chicken alfredo, chicken Caesar salad, and their meatballs. I have to say, I haven’t had a dish that I didn’t like.

I never got to try their pizza. Got their menu in the mail. Placed an order online. Waited an hour, no pizza. Finally called them. First they said their online ordering has problems, but they’d take my order over the phone. When I gave them my order and my address they said they deliver to scotch plains(like their menu says) but not ALL of scotch plains. I happen to be too far. Great. Maybe Phillipos should put a map on the menu to let everyone in scotch plains know where the cut off is!

I’ve been eating/ordering here for 2 yrs and if the food wasn’t decent and it wasn’t a few blocks away then I’d ditch it in a heartbeat. It’s all cause of the service. ITSUCKS!!! Where to begin: — when you walk in no one greets you from the owner to the high school girl at the counter. Specifically the pizza maker with black spiked hair. I’d rather talk to a slice then him. I’ve honestly never felt more unwanted in a business they all act like they’re doing you a favor. — they redid the place and it looks nice with 2 huge flat screens. But when you go in during the day the counter girl has her soaps on and boredom and unappetizing set it immediately. It’s like a morgue in there. — On numerous occasions I couldn’t get the attention of the counter girl as she was too busy on her phone or flirting with the delivery guy behind the soda fridges. In my opinion this place could be the Landmark pizzeria of Clark if they treated ALL of there customers like their business depended on it

My family orders pizza from Phillipos on a regular basis. They have a large variety of pies and they are consistently good. My favorites are the Phillipos special and half barbecue, half buffalo chicken. I’ve also recently tried one of their wraps and really enjoyed it.

The food is great we usually order once a week. The pizza is not so great though. I would definitely recommend the fettuccine Alfredo with shrimp and their onion rings are always done fresh. My husband loves their meatballs. The prices are also another great factor. You get more for your buck.

I ordered a buffalo chicken panini and fries… The panini is essentially a 6 inch sub pressed. It was dry with not much of anything going on. The fries were over cooked and from sitting in the container so long they were soggy. The whole thing was cold. I had to reheat it. It also took about an hour and 20 mins to get here. I literally live down the street. I won’t be ordering from here again.

Good take-out/delivery place. Ample selection on their menu but sometimes food is not great. Once ordered penne a la vodka with chicken and the second time I ordered the food did not taste the same. Their paninis are usually good and their delivery time is also pretty good.

I live around the corner from Phillippo’s, and it’s usually my pizza place of choice. I find that they can be hit or miss. When they’re good, their pizza and sandwiches are top notch. When they’re off, they’re bad.

I was introduced to Phillippo’s back when I worked in Rahway. The guys I worked with always ordered there own personal pies from here. One day, I decided to order a personal pie to see what the big deal was. One of my co-workers suggested the chicken cutlet pizza, which consists of french fries, chicken cutlet, and honey mustard. When I took my first bite, I was drifted to a place called heaven. It is so delicious. It has a sweet and spicy taste to it thanks to the honey mustard. A personal pie is large enough for two… I’m usually left with 3 slices. They also deliver and there service is pretty good. I would highly recommend the chicken cutlet to those who haven’t tired it.

The pizza is pretty good here — it’s one of my family’s go to pizza places. My brother and dad love the buffalo wings. I’ve had the mozzarella sticks and enjoyed them. It’s good, fast and reliable.

I’m reviewing the food + delivery. Honestly, I’ve never had their pizza … but during a snow storm last winter, the delivery guy made it to my home in more than reasonable time. Maybe he slid his way over. After all that, I must give them the 4 stars, even though their cheese ravioli isn’t all that great. The salads and sandwiches are pretty good. They make the occasional minor slip up as do many other restaurants.
