Warm atmosphere all because of the fat cat that walks around. They massage you after your nails are done and never nice people. Definitely will be returning.
Only reason I didn’t rank it 5 star is because they do not do acrylic nails and from time to time enjoy that.

I’ve never been to this salon before and decided to walk-​in for a pedicure on a busy Sunday afternoon. The girl who assisted me was very nice and took me right away. I got a French pedicure with exfoliation & callus filing for $ 42 total (tip not included). I’ve paid less for a French pedicure at other salons, however this price was 100% worth it for the quality of my experience. Excellent care & massage on my feet/​legs, and I love the paint job she did. I will definitely be returning!

Went here for the first time today after being disappointed in many salons in the area. The place is clean and large. I got a gel manicure and it came out just as asked and was done perfectly. Everyone was friendly and prices are on par for the area. I will definitely come back again.

I will start by saying I’m not quite sure people are talking about the right salon. The fancy nails I’m referring to is the one next to Caravia in the strip mall. I have been going here for over a year and have never had a negative experience. I have gotten gel manicures, pedicures as well as massages. Every person I have ever had has been professional, courteous, and friendly. I am quite fussy and have never found this place dirty or the employees rude .For all of the people that are always disappointed; maybe you should consider having your BFF so your nails at home instead of bitching

In general this place didn’t stand out to me – it seemed to be a normal, average nail salon experience. Everything was up to par, but nothing stood out as particularly amazing, except the quality of my gel manicure. I didn’t even really think about it at the time, but as time has gone on, I’ve decided it was the best gel manicure I’ve ever gotten. It’s been almost a full week and there is literally not even a single chip. It was very clearly expert application. Normally with gel manicures, it gets applied with a little bit on the edges of my cuticles causing early chipping, but there was never a bit of polish on my skin, or OFF my nails, even now.
I also had a very serviceable pedicure which is also holding up relatively nicely. I would have recommended the place anyway – it’s clean, the staff is kind, the prices are more than fair – but the gel manicure is the best I’ve ever seen! I’d 100% recommend it.

This was my first visit and I was very happy with it. I go to brown’s gym right next door and on a whim decided to check it out. I wanted to get a gel manicure and was able to walk right in and be helped right away. They had a good selection of gel colors and the woman who did mine was very friendly and accurate. She did a wonderful job making them look flawless and the standard gel manicure price included a short back massage and hand massage which was really nice. It was a pretty typical price for a gel manicure and it was one of the better ones that I’ve had done. The salon was clean, quiet, and relaxing, and you can pay with a credit card despite other reviews mentioning that this is not an option. Tips do have to be in cash however. I would recommend it and will definitely be coming back.

Great pedicures! I was super relaxed and the prices aren’t bad at all. And after I got my nails done they give you a neck massage for alittle bit while your nails are drying! Deff awesome job

I walked in and asked about a manicure. They were able to take me immediately. The place was no frills but they did a manicure that lasted over a week. Usually I prefer filed nails and the woman clipped off the corners, which was interesting because I haven’t had that doesn’t before. I admit, I chose the wrong color for my nails which may be «coloring» my review. However, if I needed a mani fix and was in the area, I would go back.

I was a little nervous about coming here, as the reviews are bad. I was pleasantly surprised. They do push extra services, which not everyone likes. (Another customer declined the upgrades but an employee kept suggesting, which was awkward for the client.) I opted for the offer on the 20 minute foot massage and callous removing lotion with cellophane, for an extra $ 30. Ivy did my manicure and pedicure. She did a good job and is friendly. The other staff are friendly, too. All mature individuals looking to please their customers from what I experienced and saw. I will be back for sure. Much better than surrounding nail salons that rush you in and out!

When I’ve been sited, they rinsed the tube and brushes with a regular water (ewwww!!!).
they’ll be pushing you to get more procedures for extra $$$$$$.
They’ve been wiping my nails with an alcohol like about 4 – 5 times. They got soooo dry and lost the natural glow completely even a month later (((.
Then I’ve been told to pay taxes, +nail glow polish+ TIPS. I gave her enough, but she was like «TIPS are 20%!!! Give me More!!! I had to give her couple bucks more even though they don’t deserve it. Poor service, rude stuff, the place is not clean. Never ever in my life!

I live around the corner, and will go here in a bind, but typically go out of my way to avoid it. My biggest pet peeve is that they try and hustle you like you’re buying a Tijuana hooker in a back alley on the lower east side. If I walk in and say I want a mani-​pedi, I don’t want a 10-​minute massage, I don’t want the extra special pedicure, I just want a mani-​pedi. I can read, I know you offer those things, I would ask for it if I wanted it. They are typically very rude if you refuse them as well, and complete your services with lots of catty looks and lots of banter in Korean to each other obviously about you. I’ve also had experiences here that were very rushed, with lots of barking at me to do this or that, and I’ve also had experiences that took forever. It’s not the worst place you’ll ever go, but it is definitely not the best.
Whatever you do DO NOT get waxed here. The women who work there have no sense of tact. I’ve had waxers there giggle at the amount of hair they have ripped off of various parts of my body, and I am not a very hairy lady. They also rush, and having a rushed Brazilian is probably one of the worst things anyone can do to a woman.

I feel compelled to say something about this place as all the reviews seem completely negative for no reason!
I had bought a groupon deal online, it was seriously good value: 30min facial, 10min foot massage, eyebrow wax and mani-​pedi for only $ 29! But after reading the reviews on here, i was more than apprehensive. I told myself that I’d go there for the mani-​pedi (how bad can it be REALLY?!) and if the place is as unhygienic and disgusting as the reviewers said, I would skip the facial.
When I got there on a Sunday afternoon, it was packed but the place seemed clean and quiet, quite a few seem to be regulars there too. The people were not chatty but they were perfectly nice and all my services were performed perfectly. The only hassle was when they couldn’t find my deal and then insisted the full price on my coupon was wrong, that my tax was higher and demanded a 20% tip, I mean I know for services it was supposed to be 20% anyway but I didn’t appreciate being ASKED like that.
Is it up to the standards of a luxurious spa? Definitely not. Is it perfectly sufficient as a neighbourhood non-​frills saloon with decent price and services? Absolutely yes.

I don’t know why there are so many negative review for Fancie! I feel the need to redeem them… I live right around the corner and frequent Fancie usually about once a week. I have never had any issues with them. Well maybe once, I had a new girl who took FOREVER for a mani but she was new. Can’t get too upset about that.
This is a no frills spa, but their mani/​pedis are cheap and last forever and the place is clean. What else do you really need in Manhattan where there are grimey nail salons on every block?
Also, there is a guy that works there who does really good massages if you are in the market.

I personally really enjoyed the in-​and-​out setup here. I do enjoy pampering, but sometimes I just want my nails to be pretty as quickly as possible.
If I could secure the groupon price every time, this would be my only nail salon.

After reading all the negative reviews I regretted buying my groupon. I booked an appointment for my sister and myself. Our experience was very different from the other reviewers.
I was helped by a friendly staff member. The area was clean. I saw the tools being removed from a small sterilizer. The manicure and pedicure took over an hour to complete, I then sat leisurely under the dryer. I have booked two appointments since. I always go at 10am during the week.
The only negative I experienced was the constant suggestions to upgrade services. I can’t blame them for trying, but they tried harder than most salons I’ve gone to.

Terrible, terrible, terrible!
First, its was incredibly hard to get an appointment with them and the people on the phone (yes– people, every time I called I was passed around to multiple people) were unbelievably rude to me. When I tried to get an appointment in person at the store I was told they could see me immediately until I mentioned I had a groupon and was then told they actually didn’t have availability right then. Yeah…
Then, there is the actual manicure and pedicure. It hurt. Like really hurt. I think the woman doing my pedicure confused the pumice stone with sandpaper and my foot with a piece of wood. I had also opted for the paraffin wax treatment but had to beg her to stop after she repeatedly plunging my foot into nearly boiling wax and repeatedly telling me it would hurt less after a few dips.
In the end, the manicure and pedicure were decent at best. I could do the exact same quality by myself at home.
The one star is because the woman doing my manicure and pedicure tried hard to be nice, despite the poor quality and painfulness of doing the work.

The people were nice but I could not help but to notice the cleanliness. The tools they used to clean my nails looked dirty and I didn’t want to think about it while she was pushing back my cuticles. I bought a Groupon, too, but I will never go back.

Agree with the other reviews. Will be asking for a refund on my groupon. Unfortunately this place just makes you feel dirty-​I can’t be sure the stuff was sanitized and there was a pile of garbage near the sink. My nailpolish was thick. Giving it 2 stars because the ladies were helpful in putting my shoes back on because my nails were wet. It’s just a really run down operation.

DO NOT go here. This place is so small it can only fit maybe 5 customers at a time. I tried to come here and wait for a Mani/​pedi and they rudely told me by appts only. I am returning the Groupon and finding somewhere else that treats their customers better!
