Description

Specialties

«Clarendon Hills Music Academy offers piano, guitar, voice, drum, bass lessons. We also offer recording and song writing workshops. CHMA is focused on striking a perfect balance between musical mastery and creativity in a stress-free environment. Too often, music programs spend most of their time exclusively rocking out OR boring a student with drills. We believe a perfect music lesson should simultaneously focus on building skills while diving into the creative elements of music. Striking this balance combined with creating a lesson plan around the student’s musical interests is our mission.»

History

Established in 2007.

Clarendon Hills Music Academy humbly started in a tiny single instructor studio in downtown Clarendon Hills. Due to the success of our new and modern approach to music lessons, we have grown into a large multi-studio teaching facility covering every thing from piano, voice, guitar, bass, and drum lessons to recording and song writing workshops. We are so grateful for the students and families we see on a weekly basis and l look forward to the musical journey that lie ahead.

Meet the Business Owner

Business Owner

I love my family, music, and our families that attend Clarendon Hills Music Academy! I was born and raised in Hinsdale. I attended Walker School in my younger days. you could travel to different schools in those days. I attended middle school at Hinsdale Jr. High. I was so lucky to attend the first year Steve Tabisz started teaching. He was such an inspiration.

I continued to study music at Chicago Academy for the Arts. After extensive studying, I spent time touring around the country with a musical group. During my touring days I got married and started to raise a family (That’s code for no more touring). I channeled my love for music into Clarendon Hills Music Academy. So grateful to do what I love on a daily basis by inspiring my students and staff to love music and inspire others with their gifts.
