Some families don’t change suppliers because it seems like a real hassle to have to go through to make a switch, but the customer should not feel «locked in» or «held hostage» to a supplier and they should never lose sleep over concerns about the age and safety of their system.

All you need to do is make ONE phone call to us. Our friendly team will take it from there. We will notify your present supplier and see that the old tank is removed. We will install a clean white or enviro-​green tank and do a complete safety and efficiency check. To ensure you it will be hassle free, we do it all in 3 hours or less or dinner is on us! 20# Grill Cylinders:

We fill gas grill cylinders! We are also able to inspect tanks more than 12 years old or safely dispose of a rusty or leaking tank. For your convenience, we leave several grill cylinders outside of our office. If you need propane for your grill after hours, you may take one and return it the next business day.

History

Established in 1945.

Our founder, Sid Albrecht, started Reliable Bottled Gas in the fall of 1945. Ken Albrecht took over the business in 1978, specializing in home heating and moved Reliable Propane’s headquarters to 10 140 County Road in Clarence Center. His son Dan Albrecht has been working there for a few years and the small family business continues to grow.
