Mason Prophet

I cannot recommend Mason highly enough. He is friendly, knowledgeable, completely trustworthy, honest, and nothing but professional at every turn. He helped us sell our home, on a contingency, and find a new house in Claremont. Throughout all of the ups and downs of the process, Mason basically held our hand the entire time! He had clear, thorough answers to all of our (many) questions and helped make the process seamless. Thank you, Mason!

I was going through a very hard moment in life. My house needed to be sold and I needed someone I could trust. I am so thankful that Mason was the person that help me out. He works hard on your behalf. He is thoughful, humble, positive and acts fast. My house got sold at the right price and at the right time.

Sometimes it feels as if the business world is filled with people who are either hopelessly incompetent or lacking in integrity. Or both. Then we run into someone like Mason. I once worked with someone even more cynical than I who defined a «professional» as «solely someone who gets paid for what they do.» But I like to use the word in the way many people do, which is to describe someone who is worth what they get paid to do. And that describes Mason in a dead-​on fashion.
Honest? Refreshingly so. He didn’t try to buy our listing, and he clearly laid out our options for our previously-​rented townhouse, which needed considerable cleanup work: sell in its current shape for a price on the low end of the market, or spend some money and move the property up to the higher end.
We took the second option (which absolutely paid off), and were helped in every step of the process by Mason. He provided helpful direction when needed; was timely in his responses; kept us informed of progress; and pushed on the other parties involved when necessary. But always with good humor and politeness that verged on the «Is he really this nice or is there something we’re missing here?» level. (If we were missing something, we still don’t know what it is. He appears to be a genuinely nice person, although in no way a pushover.)
It’s probably not possible to make a real estate transaction into something fun, particularly selling. But it’s certainly possible to make it painful and tiresome. And, as we found this time around, it’s also possible to make the process quite close to painless.
As someone who’s been involved in the hiring of many dozens of people over the years, as part of hiring teams, the question always came down to «Yes or no.» Sometimes making that call was practically agonizing. But when we got a candidate the quality of Mason, there was always a unanimous «Yes» that went around the table. So if anyone’s asking whether to talk to Mason about utilizing his services as a realtor, take this as a definite «Yes.» (I’d add an exclamation point but I don’t like using them.)

Recently, Mason helped us maneuver through the difficult field of REOs. During the entire process, he was professional and in control of all aspects of the transaction. He was always supportive while keeping us fully informed. Mason obviously takes pride in his work and we are now the owners of a new property. We highly recommend Mason.

Mason is a great real estate agent: knowledgable, patient, calm, and persistent. He worked hard with us for over 5 months as we tried to find just the right home, and eventually we were successful. We looked at dozens of homes, made 5 offers and with Mason’s help we have just moved into just the right home in Claremont Village. Without his guidance we would never have held firm to find this house. I can’t say enough about Mason’s easy-​going professionalism. I have worked with many real estate agents, buying and selling a home, some good and some not so good but Mason stands above the rest. Mason handled two transactions for us this year and we were very pleased to have worked with him.
