Specialties

The International Language School meets at Pitzer College in Claremont (no affiliation) Fletcher and Avery Halls or in the courtyard. We offer language classes for any age on Saturday mornings in Arabic, Chinese, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Portuguese, Russian, Sign Language, and Spanish. We have two 14-week semesters, one starting in the fall and the other in the spring, a 6-week session during the summer. Our fees are reasonable and there is a discount for families. All our special events, like the Christmas program and Cinco De Mayo party, are included with your enrollment. In an average we have only six students per class. All the teachers have great experience in the respective languages and their own enthusiastic teaching styles. If you’re looking to learn a language for fun, move ahead at work, or get in touch with your heritage this school is for you!
