Help

I have tried Sylvan, and Kumon for my daughter who is in high school. Neither one of those systems were the right fit for her at all.
After searching the internet I stumbled upon Claremont Tutors, aka,
. I looked at their website which clearly outlines their business with pricing, which I appreciated. No secret outrageous pricing or contacts.
I emailed them and Alicia called me immediately to ask a few question about my daughter so she could place her with a tutor that would be a good fit. I’ve never had a tutoring business try to find a compatible tutor!
Alicia was extremely professional and easy to get a hold of. She contacted me very soon after and found a wonderful college student from the Claremont colleges to work with my daughter.
Pricing is extremely reasonable and our tutor who is a college student is such a fantastic instructor! My daughter has struggled in math for a long time and this tutor doesn’t just tell her what needs to be done, she gets her thinking and asks her questions that lead her to figuring out the solutions on her own. We are so pleased with her and with Claremont Tutors.
They accept credit cards as well. They keep your card on file, send/​email you an invoice at the END of the month after all your sessions are done, then you are given a week to review it before billing your card.
Our tutor comes to our house, but they are also willing to meet you at the library. She is always prompt and has stayed longer a couple of times when she could to finish up assignments.
They don’t have a physical dedicated facility which I wasn’t looking for, personally.
I just wish I had known about them sooner!

Great service! The first tutor wasn’t a good fit and they made the decision before I did. The second tutor, Amin, was perfect. Always on time, and not a minute was wasted.

Wonderful service. They truly have worked with our family to match the tutor for my daughter’s highschool subjects. Our daughter was very happy that this was available as a resource. However, some tutors are new and lack tutoring experience. But by talking to Alicia we were able to get the experienced tutors to meet my daughter’s needs.

Monique has been tutoring our son James for over a year in reading. James is autistic and has had difficulty in this subject since he was very young. She has helped him immensely and now he can read a lot better. We really do appreciate her efforts in understanding our son.

I can’t thank Claremont Tutors enough. My son was struggling with Geometry, barely passing and we hired Ricardo, to help him. He was with him for a few months and helped my son tremendously. He was knowledgeable and very professional. My son ended up getting an A in the course and is much more confident in all of his school work. It was a good price and well worth the investment. Thanks!
