I was referral here’s from my general doctor to see a dermatologist for my skin acne. To make an appointment it takes 3 months in advance to see the dermatologist, they offered for a sooner appointment to make an appointment with the«physical assistant«P.A. and later on you can switch so the dermatologist can see you. So I made an appointment and JANERODGERS, P.A.B.S. She saw me such in a rush and wasn’t specific on the treatment just game me pills(minocycline) and cream(epiduo), she barely saw my acne, she ask if I had any questions and yes obviously I had a lot, seems like she was hoping me to not have any doubt and just leave because I was her last patient and just wanted to leave, again rush the answer and justify saying will see how your doing for your next appointment(in 3 months) and will talk… I left really disappointed anyhow I follow the treatment and«yes» I had an improvement on my acne. I went back for my first follow up with Jane and again so unprofessional I felt like on other number instead of a patient, she doesn’t even read the patients chart were I said I was taking: — (terbinafine) might cause vertigo, she prescribe minocycline and vertigo is one of the usual side effects . I wasn’t having any vertigo at all until I start taking the minocycline. I mention that on my first follow up appointment and she seems so lost … Went back to the chart and yes I mention it but she didn’t saw it. Also she ask me what cleanser and cream was I using and I said the one you told me … And again was lost like Mmm which ones where they… Don’t they write that down on the patients chart under notes and procedures??? I’m aware that acne takes time to get under control but this P.A. Is really a headache for me, I want to know what will be going? what is the procedure going to last? When are they going to take care of the cosmetic if my acne is under control? … All this questions I ask and they were still not clear. I do t want to be taking and taking pills, she even said you might be on drugs for your whole life we don’t know. Again really unsatisfied, such unprofessional care for their patients.

These people care about nothing but money. If you had a heart attack in their waiting room they’d steal your wallet before dialing 911.

Came in here to see the doctor about a cyst that was bothering me on my wrist… She only told me to get a blood test, ct scan and an X-ray… While not being able to do these three tests at this facility, I was told to go elsewhere and my results should be back in a week. Well, I went to get all these tests done on the same day and one week later, no answer. Two weeks later, no answer. After two weeks, I started calling and calling and these people at the Chaparral Medical Group kept on saying that they haven’t received my results, or that the name I gave them didn’t exist. Absolutely ridiculous. Being unhappy and all, I called in and started asking them why they don’t have my name on file because with the recent visit, I updated my name with them and just told me that they haven’t updated the information yet. Really? Three weeks and you haven’t entered new information into your system??? Wow… Don’t know what else to say except«are you going to be responsible for my life if something were to happen to me??» I think they took this as a threat and actually started working/doing their job. Still had to wait a whole weekend in order to get my results because the my doctor already left for the weekend. Shouldn’t doctors care about their patients instead of being lazy money leeches?

Stay away from this medical group. Check out other reviews on other websites. They are all accurate. The most unprofessional and uncaring group of people I have ever had the displeasure to associate with. They make you wait for a call back to schedule an appointment. Does the doctor really have to decide if he wants to see you? I have had numerous appointments cancelled last minute with no apology. My wife was once left waiting in the lobby while the group went to lunch obviously unaware she was sitting there. My appointment for a physical in November was postponed until January. I told them I wanted it before the end of the year because of the deductible having been met and they were totally uncaring and unresponsive. The first thing out of their mouth as you approach the window to sign in is — «do you have your co-pay?» Other medical groups have heard of Chaparral’s horrible reputation. If you have a choice– go elsewhere.
