What a joke. This place has a combo of horrible customer service and sad Mexican food

Best customer service ever! Me and and my family were there this past Saturday for a little gathering and loved the wonderful treatment we received bothe young ladies and the young man were so super sweet and patient with my hungry family. Loved the food and the portion served. Wonderful place to go eat at. All my family was very satisfied.

Amazingly Delicious. Visiting Clairmont College and decide to have a Mothers day Meal. Turned into this parking lot which turned out to be a very quiet empty parking/Store area hoping to find something to eat. Then I see a crowd of cars and a small restaurant. Looks good so we stopped. WOW What a surprise!!! I had the Carnitas Burrito and the Wife had a Streak Fajitas. Finished up and had enough food left for a Delicious Dinner at home.

Service is good, prices are not bad. Food is average. I had there pastor burrito. Meat was cooked right but it was missing something… I wish it had more flavor.

Very good food. Came back from Mount Baldy and stop for lunch in Claremont. I had the taco al pastor. Very filling. The kids taquitos came with lots of beans and rice and one taquito. My dtr had the beeg caldo. It was warm and yummy. My other dtr had the enchilda plate. She really enjoyed it. Thr place needs updating but it’s clean. The price was reasonable. Too bad we don’t live closer.

It’s amazing to me that anyone could write a bad review about such a great place with the nicest people you have ever met. Jesus the owner is just the best and the food here is very good and plentiful. The prices are good and if you leave here hungry then it’s your own fault. I like the taco enchilada chili rellano plate and my husband loves the fajitas. We have been coming here since they were in the old place and we like the new spot even better. Try this place and make some friends we love and value this wonderful place.

I came here because I just moved into the area and I was in the mood for Mexican food and unfortunately this place was disappointing. The chips and salsa were sad to say the least the salsa was watery and bland. I ordered chile verde and it was ok the green salsa was bland and the meat was in need of spices. Overall I won’t be coming back.

Always great friendly service and good food at a reasonable price. Everytime our family eats at Casa Jimenez we are greeted in a friendly family like atmosphere

We love casa Jimenez. My wife and I go here on our date nights, and whenever our whole family is in the mood for authentic Mexican food. The staff is amazing, and extremely nice. The food is great, and they have a special all you can eat menu for 9.95. There is no other Mexican food restaurant we go to in the Claremont, or surrounding areas. 5 stars in opinion.

The food was fantastic! We all had something different and we all cleaned our plates. The price was even better! $ 42 for 6 people. Can’t beat that!

Awesome service we go once a week. Friendly service great food. I enjoy the huevos ranchero all the time. The chips and salsa with pico de gallo is delicious. For picky eaters fo breakfast they serve pancakes for breakfast. If you get there before 11 am during the week they have breakfast specials. New location but same great taste. They have room for big partys to serve as well if your gonna have a big group luncheon or something.

I don’t know why there are even bad reviews the place is a little hole in the wall! So I don’t know how they can even ignore you! Perfect service here always checking up on you and the plates and prices are perfect! I always take my family here!

Found this place on my way back from LA. The service was great. The owner made me feel like I was at my uncles house. They serve café de olla con canela which is essential with a good Mexican brunch. As a Mexican I am extremely picky with my Mexican restaurants my this place is legit. Stop by and enjoy

We were just there and were ignored for over 20 minutes after being seated. No drinks or anything and staff just didn’t care. The family that came in afterwards had chips and drinks within 5 minutes. My family had been coming here for years. Not anymore.

I don’t understand the bad reviews here. I have been here on numerous occasions, and the food, service, and staff have always been top notch. Servers are always friendly — and always make sure your drinks are refilled, chips are always full, and are always watching in case you need something. My food has always been tasty — I’ve never had any complaints. This is a cute little restaurant, and will always have my business.

I ordered the tacos when they arrived they looked liked I ordered an appetizer. They were very small definitely not worth the price. The rice had no taste and the beans were so so. The guacamole had no taste and the meat inside the tacos were flavorless. I will never be back.

Cheap, hot, good food. Used to come for the AYCE(all-you-can-eat) lunch or dinner, which was always a great price, with the food cooked to order as you ate it, not sitting at a buffet inner heat lamps – impressive. Now this is my goto place for breakfast with the guys. It’s not fancy, but the $ 1.50 breakfast(I recommend huevos rancheros and one buddy likes the huevos a la gringa) can’t be beat for there price. 2 meals, 2 coffees, a $ 5 tip, and you’re still out of the for $ 12, the price of one breakfast a lot of places. Oh, and good service, too, which accounts for the big(relative to the price of the meal) tip.
