Carolina Coach and Marine

I bought a brand new 2016 camper back in March. The sales side of the house has been pretty good and generally provided good service.
However the service side is just terrible. I have had numerous appointments and consistently find that they are understaffed, overwhelmed, and do not treat their customers well. For instance, it is routinely difficult to even get someone to pick up on the phone and when they tell you they will call you back you never hear from them again. Just trying to get a status on where the repairs stand with my vehicle and when I can pick it up has been very difficult. Also even when you come to pickup your camper at the agreed upon time nothing is ever ready — the paperwork isn’t done, they have trouble locating your keys, the unit isn’t pulled down, etc… So much of your time is wasted waiting on them to «get prepared» and this happens consistently as I’ve been there the last six months working out various issues.
Today I had a simple $ 10 breaker and a 0.45 cent fuse replaced and I got a bill of over $ 160 dollars! Apparently the tech charged a full hour of labor just to change a breaker because he couldn’t figure out how to take off the panel. Unbelievable! And the stereo cost me a half hour labor because the tech didn’t check the simple stuff first and spent a half hour before realizing the fuse was just bad. Then I get home and pop it up and discover that the speakers have no sound. How this obvious fact was not caught when they fixed the power issue to the stereo is beyond me.
I’m done with Carolina Coach. Every business can have a bad day, but when you find consistently poor customer service and an operation that isn’t well run or managed it’s time to take your business elsewhere.

Arrived at Carolina Coach signed in, waited for over 30 minutes for a sales person. Couple walked in 20 minutes after me and a salesman took them straight out and starting showing rv’s to them. Lots of people that worked there walking doing nothing. I went there ready to buy a rv, but that didn’t happen nor will it every. Everyone there was rude and very unfriendly. I am a previous customer, but will never be again. I send the sales manager an e-​mail telling him about how I was treated today and no reply or phone call from him.
