This is for the coop fountain, the restaurant next door to the coop store. Terrible service. Outrageous prices. A simple sandwich can take half an hour when it’s not even that busy. The reasonable request to have your cheese melted often proves to be beyond the capability of these amateur fry cooks. Even their staples — curly fries and mozzarella sticks — regularly come out soggy or burnt to a crisp. They don’t even take credit/debit cards. Also it’s often dirty and gross.

A really good selection of naked juice which blow vons selection out of the water!!! The rest of the stuff is usual college paraphernalia and microwaveable food and snacks for students on campus. One reason why all the girls should hit this place up is the divacup. Sorry to all the guys to whom this might be way tmi. Gals of the 5cs if u havent tried it yet stomp on over here for the diva cup after u google it. It may be a little pricey but it really is worth it. I’m not sure where else u can find it conveniently…

It’s admittedly grandiose to call the ASPC Coop Store either a department store or a grocery store. But for the students of the Claremont Colleges, it serves as both: in addition to selling Pomona College sweaters, hoodies, beanies, shirts, shorts, pants, socks, and other Pomona merchandise, the Coop Store carries water, soda, tea, coffee, Naked Juice, energy drinks, frozen meals, Ben & Jerry ice cream, chips, rice cakes, and your standard convenience store’s repertoire of candy. The Coop also sells office supplies, cigarettes, and Diva Cups(it’s a licensed retailer). DVD’s are available for a dollar a day, for Pomona College students only. Game room equipment, including a Nintendo 64 and about ten games, four sets of billiard balls with cues, chalk, and triangles, and foos balls are available to all students, and can be lent out with an ID card. In general, the employees are good natured and helpful, and it’s fairly easy to find things in the store. If you can’t, just ask an employee; they’ll check in the back for you. Also, keep an eye out for special deals and sales: for one day near the end of the semester, the Coop offers a 25% discount, and it’s also offered discounted DVD rental rates. In general, the Coop is a vehicle to a good time: you can get a snack to smuggle in to a theatre performance or a game, you can borrow some equipment for a game, and you can keep yourself from starving. It’s a good place if you’re in search of mixers, your cigarette fix, or gifts for people back home or prospective students.
