This is a nice Dollar Tree. There are lots of balloons, at least fifty, for sale usually. The party supply and office supply aisles are always stocked full. The grocery area is behind the checkouts; it’s actually pretty big! This is also the dollar tree I shop at when I do Operation Christmas Child. Most of all, though, I like how friendly the employees are.

Come on, people, you gotta love the dollar store! Unless you are a millionaire… I really appreciate this store for what it intends to do, though I worry where the items are being made(poor, simply educated Chinese?). That is the main reason which keeps what I buy there to a minimum. I go to the Dollar Store when I really need to buy things that will be disposed of fairly quickly, for instance: party favors, stuff for the party, stuff for the children who are attending the party to play with, and so on and so forth. I try not to go the Dollar Store for home decorating purposes or food. I am into sustainability for our planet Earth, and I don’t think the Dollar Store helps in that particular matter. This type of store is an inexpensive version of a Walmart or Target, and maybe none of us should need to have to go there…

I’m not a big shopper of this place. In fact, this was my first time! However, to make some inexpensive mosaic gifts. there were candle dishes for $ 1.can’t beat that! I made 8 of them! For stuff like that I love going to places like this! :)

I came in here tonight to get some cheap gift basket packaging. When I went to check out there was two cashiers. A customer two people in front of me was arguing with the other cashier(Serena). Serena basically ended their argument by telling the customer to stop talking and shut up. The cashier for the line I was in checked out the people in front of me but when it was my turn she ignored me and went to talk to Serena about the argument with the other customer. I was already waiting in line and did not just walk up. I said excuse me to the cashier and she turned around and rudely asked me what. I told her I would like some help. Thats when serena thought it would be beneficial to start an argument with me too. Serena told me the cashier didnt see me. I told Serena that she seemed to be having some sort of attitude issue and I didnt want to be apart of whatever it was. She then told me not to be rude to her cashiers. I told her she has very bad customer service skills. She tried to continue to be rude to me and I told her that it was enough I just want to purchase my items. She said if I didnt like it I could just not come back. I told her not to worry I never would. She said thats fine they dont need customers like me. A few cheap items are not worth this type of service. I will never be back. With it being the holiday season I doubt I will be the only customer experiencing Serena’ s unprofessional service.

I came here trying to kill a bit of time while waiting for a friend — mission accomplished. They had a much larger grocery section than your typical Dollar Tree, which is both a little frightening and of interest. your typical selection of various, random items all priced for about $ 1.00
