True Salvage specializes in furniture restoration and creating bespoke furniture and accent pieces from reclaimed lumber. The handmade items include farm tables, wooden mantels and seating solutions that blur the line between art and functional design. Heffernan draws inspiration from and incorporates Victorian era architectural elements to accent the tone of each piece.

Painter, Photographer, Illustrator — David Heffernan is the lead designer and owner of True Salvage. Heffernan is a trained realist and internationally recognized for his work within classical painting traditions. Heffernan is perhaps best known for his work in design, contributing to some of the most iconic and award winning album covers.
